Happy Lumi everyone!

Just poking my head in to say Happy Lumi Eve! It has been one hell of a year for me!

Good things - I have a new supervisor who started about two months ago. I really am enjoying working with him and I'm looking forward to changes being made for the better at work. Other good thing is my son got a job and is trying to save and get a bit more independent in the coming year.

Semi bad things - My former supervisor retired in February, so I was basically on my own, trying to run things for over six months in a job that I had only been doing for 3 months before he retired. Plus helping another new guy with a job that I had done part-time off and on for two years. But I made it!

Worst things of the year hands down - In early May we lost our pup of 14 years. And the grand prize of worst things...about a month later in June, I lost my mom. To be honest from Memorial day to the end of June is just a blur for me this year.

I've been lurking on subeta, just doing a few things here and there to help stay sane. Sorry I haven't talked about anything until now, but it's been rough. I hope that everyone is well and has been having a good holiday season, even if it's busy. Enjoy your family and friends and cherish the time with loved ones! Love all of you guys and I will try to gift today when I can, but as others have said, it might be after trees open. Hey, we can always do the 12 days of Christmas and keep it going through the new year, right? :)

Unlocked Underground Fishing Fan! Fish up something from Underground Fishing! Finally got to 100! He teased me- the last 3 prior I didn't catch anything. I'm like really? You can't just give me the achievement? LOL

hugs I'm truly sorry for your loss, Paige. Not only is losing a beloved pet difficult but losing your mom is a monumental loss. Mine passed away 7 years ago, but it only feels like a few. The holidays are never the same, so I'm giving you an extra special hug.

I'm glad you have a new supervisor that you like and that you made it through the rough patch!

We're adding a 5th doctor at our practice. I'm very nervous and excited at the same time. I hope we figure out the flow! It's gonna be a wild ride for sure.

Anyway, I need to get back to finishing a gift and making dessert for tomorrow! It's what I get for procrastinating lol. Some things never change :D

I've been very busy so I will try to leave gifts under peoples trees. For tique items that I forgot to WL on I like the endeavor outfit that had come out earlier this year I think?

I managed to gift all my friends in a mad dash - coughing/peeing sprint lol. Still dealing with a lung infection and other chaos but I'm happy to have managed to find something on each wishlist. If I missed you, how come we're not friends? ;)

so sorry to hear about your mom, and about your dog too. I really have no words to offer because nothing can compare with your loss.

I lost my Buffydog of 13 1/2 years this year too, and that's been tough for me. (We still have little Simon to help us through.) My dad has also been suffering with cancer, on chemo, and we've been facing that this might have been our last Christmas with him (glad that we had it though!). And, Tom also lost his stepmom in October, so it's been rough around here too.

Anyway, thank you everyone for all the gifts! I haven't even been able to mentally process them yet, but I do appreciate them! Merry Christmas and best wishes for a better New Year for all!

Thank you ! It's been a pretty good day/week. Had Monday off for the holiday, yesterday for a snow/ice day, and today for a doctor's appointment with my son, but we went shopping and out to lunch afterwards :)

Thank you both very much for the birthday wishes. The day itself was good, but boy did work on Thursday and Friday make up for it lol! It was a wild short work week! Ready to just veg some this weekend and enjoy either reading one of my new books from Christmas and birthday, or playing the Nintendo Switch that was a birthday gift to myself. :)

Hey everyone, I just noticed they put the 2023 Rag Doll achievement in!

Did everyone get enough kisses during the event? How many skins did you end up with? I managed to get 7 this year! If I'm lucky, I'll be caught up in 2 years lol!

Congrats Danae! I have yet to get that achievement!

I noticed the achievement too - I still need 5 of them!

And, I managed to get 6 skins, including all the new ones. I actually got to participate a little more in survival this year because I've been home with covid since last Thursday (my first case of it, thankfully mild).

I always tend to get a late start, and my 5th skin (brain rot) just seemed to take about 12 more hours than I expected.

I got the one's for this year plus one.. but I noticed there's one year that I'm missing all of them and there are ones I know I had that now show I need them.. didn't have a lot of time this year, I tried to return all the kisses I received, but know that I missed quite a few. I need to go through the shop items from this year and the past two years and see what all I'm missing, plus Skitters shop too.. I've gotten so far behind in the events, but point wise, I think I'm ok..

I hadn't seen the achievement, will have to go see which ones I'm missing <3
