I didn’t like the previous principal, many staff adored her. The new principal seems to be equally not favoured by all. Actually, I don’t mind her as much as the previous, who made such a distinction between the staff she liked and those she didn’t. So High School. I actually went to the same HS as she did, 4 years later so we never met there but it felt like she still acted the way the girls acted then. Harrumph! What is that cute sweater with the bees your HA is wearing?

Well that is sad that favoritism is still alive and well there. :( Here in the states, it's usually very clear who the favorites are - follow the money. But that's another subject entirely perhaps. lol I hope this new principal doesn't begin acting like that - I mean, it's time to grow up, yes? :O

Nothing like my current Cutie Patootie.... LOL There is an expresion in the Hebrew Writings (the Talmud I think) using a bee as a metaphor; when wanting to avoid something completely, one would say: not for his honey and not for his sting. Obviously it loses something in the translation.... I love your HA's country look. Oh, I was chattering aloud in the teacher's lounge and the Principal joined right in, and even said something that to me indicated a level of depth that one doesn't usually show/see. I was intrigued.

How is your job now?

In class today the teacher read the King Solomon and the Bee story. (Synopsis: In this traditional Jewish tale, a lowly bee unexpectedly repays the kindness of a king by helping him solve a queen’s difficult riddle). Funny that we just started talking about bees and today I heard this story! Happy to oblige 😆

AWESOME!! Now how cool is that??? :O I love it when things like that happen! I also find it extremely interesting how many times bees are mentioned, or referenced, in Scriptures of many faiths - over 60 in the Bible alone! :O WOWZA! I just love it! We keep bees here on the ranch, as part of a public program to keep them safe, and it is such a joy to work with them. I can't wait to get back out there with them!

My neighbour has some bee hives, I think he hasn't any bees yet. Waiting for him to start having them. It brings goodness somehow. I miss seeing ladybugs. We don't see those around anymore.

We, as a species, have put bees in serious danger, and it's sad that there are folks who believe they are simply a pest. :O I think they forget from where food really comes... :( And yes, true Ladybugs have been missing for quite some time here too. We see Mexican Bean Beetles, which really are pests in the garden, and I sure wish we would get some Ladybugs back!

Yeesh. Part of that YEESH is from my thoughts about "they". But I would too quickly digress into the P word.... :P

Hi everybody, I just want to thank everybody here for your love and encouragement. I was just going through a fairly intense blah period (intense blahs??) caused by the weather, age, long-COVID recovery and such.
