I never use my phone for anything but calls & photos since I have a big HD monitor on my computer. The phone screen is too small to see anything properly. Your HA is very pretty today.

Not looking forward to the dreaded pirate "holiday' It's just too frustrating since it's nearly impossible to buy anything in the shop so I hope I don't like any of the new items this year, How is everybody else doing with fishing?

I am enjoying the increased variety of opponents in battling & seeing some that I've fought before but not in battle quests. Just came across one I've never heard of or seen before, Talveg. Wonder where this one came from. Also one that I can't defeat, Tusk and Crookfang.

Belated Happy Birthday! So sorry for the lateness. Getting used to the back to school routine and then going on a quick mini vacation for our anniversary occupied my brain too much. I hope it was a good one! <3

I'm with you. The pirate "holiday" is no fun when you can't get anything. I wish they could figure out a way to tweak it so people could have more fun. I'm not really a battler, so it's just a meh kinda "holiday" for me.

The pirate holiday used to be fun until it became nothing but a complete frustration since you can't get any of the pretty new stuff without paying a fortune from people who can buy it. My computer is old & super slow so every time I see anything in the shop by the time I click as fast as I can everything is already gone. :(

I agree that it's hard to get stuff from the shops. Honestly it's not my computer, but my internet connection that is bad. My computer is only 2 years old so not really old. My internet is not great though. The phone company has finally upgraded options in my area. Previously the best speed possible was 10 mbps with dsl, but now it is supposedly 1 gbps with fiberoptics. I've never seen it go above 500 mbps though, but at least it's tons better than previous possibilities.

I do some basic battling. My pet isn't super strong being only tier 10, but I can do a bit of basics. I try to train at least twice a day, once before heading to work and again after work.

If no one else wants your buddy GA, then I could use it. It gives me a chance to earn extra sp with the extra quests and such. I just don't want to take it if someone else wants it. You've given me your buddy GA several times before and I don't want to take advantage.

Is anyone having any luck with the fishing game? I've come to the conclusion that he's either a big fat liar or has no clue what he's doing. Otherwise how could I possibly be "very close" then with the next click beside that I'm suddenly "nowhere near it". Jerk. Will never get that achievement & I like that border better than the shark one. So I guess the whole thing is just random. Darn.

Thanks so much for the GA. I really appreciate it. I think the fishing is kind of random also. I tend to get the nowhere near it response a lot. Hopefully we both can get lucky enough to get enough rare things pulled up to get the border. At least you don't have to actually get the jackpot to get the border, so it definitely could be worse.

Thanks about my HA. I was able to buy several new dresses from the CW pawn shop. I'm so glad we have a chance to get free CSC with the Morty cards. I tend to spend what CSC I do get from them on black Friday and when the CW pawn shop is open.

As for the pirate shop, at least many of the items do decrease in price after a few years. So as long as I'm not in a hurry I can probably get most of the stuff eventually.

I agree. Moristide is really fun. I like the holidays where we visit each other's profiles and can both get something out of it like with Moristide, Masquerade, etc. They are lots more fun than just the ones that open a shop for a bit.

Next up is the annoying pirate "holiday" to suffer through before Morostide. I hope I don't like any of the new pirate stuff this year. Always look forward to new skins for Morostide.

All the other holidays for me is to get the new books and food for my pets nut Morostide is my jam. Like IRL it's all about halloween and horror all year round lol

I always want new books because the only books my reading pet hasn't read sell for millions & I'd really like that border. Don't need any food unless they raise the tier since my food pet has the achievement. Wonder if pirates will start this weekend. Hmm, where do I get a parrot?

Edit: So the dreaded pirate "holiday" is back with items that only people with super fast computers who are online 24/7 have any chance at buying. Haven't checked the new stuff yet but sure hope there's nothing I want this year. Looking forward to Morostide.

Edit again: This is odd, I brought up the list of shop items listing new 1st but when I account searched I found I already have a bunch of them. So guess there isn't that much I need. Nice. :)

Edit: " Congratulations! You just unlocked the Fishing Expert Avatar Border!" Wow thought that would take a lot longer. I'm guessing it's pretty much impossible to get the treasure achievement so think I will give up on fishing for now. Only 1 away from the spring achievement. :)

I just need all the new books but can't get them in the Roberts shop & don't want to pay millions. I'm calling it the "Roberts Shop" as in oh no it's the dread pirate...

& that's why I like Carl's Quests during Keelhauliday. I have a higher chance of getting pirate items from him than the shop itself. Anything I get that I already have is going in a gallery for safe keeping/Sharkies who don't have the item

Yes I always get better stuff from Carl. Unfortunately it's rarely something I want/need. Hope the book prices come down but probably not.

Edit: "Unlocked Underground Fishing Fan! Fish up something from Underground Fishing!" Great, now I don't have to go underground again. :) Now the only border I don't have is the reading border, but my pet still needs another 700 which are all selling for millions. Darn.

Thank you for the buddy GA's! :) I meant to thank you for last month's GA earlier but I kept getting distracted. How have you been? The weather here can't decide if it wants to switch to fall or continue with the summer heat. I'm ready for cooler weather so I can start leaving the windows open all day and let fresh air in the house.
