Your avvie looks great! :) We've had the wettest and coolest start to Summer. We had 3 days of 90s back in May and then it's been in the 60s/70s with occasional 80s since then.

So I went through my wardrobe over the weekend and pulled out a few hundred items to put in my shop, some selling for millions, then super autopriced to make sure they were the correct amounts. Surprised when I logged in this morning to find only about 500K in the till. Thought there would be a lot more. Disappointing. Anybody know when bugs and birds start? I thought the birds would begin already in spring. Looking forward to neugarten to get new books for my reading pet.

I'm also looking forward to Neugarten. I want to make sure to buy up the food items before the shop closes this time around so I can take my time eating the stuff and working toward the gourmand achievement. I still have quite a ways to go on it, but there are thousands of foods to choose from so I'll get there eventually.

We've gotten a lot of rain lately here. Last night it stormed so bad that it actually woke me up in the middle of the night. It probably because I've gotten used to the quiet in the house since my daughter isn't here right now. She's visiting my mother out of state. She's been gone just over a week and it's strange coming home to an empty house.

I took a look at least year's news and the Bird Watching was announced January 7, 2022 and stated it would last until Spring. It ended just before Vesnali started in April. The bugs were announced September 11 to end around Moristide which was October 18. I looked at all the news for 2023 and see no mention of birds or bugs. I guess we missed out on the birds this year. Hopefully we don't miss out on the bugs also.

I'm looking forward to neugarten only for the books my reading pet needs. I don't need any of the food since my gourmand pet has the achievement. It would be nice if they mentioned something about when it might start. We still don't have the monsoon yet. It was supposed to start 2 weeks ago with rain every day but we've had zero precip and getting up into extra hot temps. Ugh.

I could definitely use more books also. I did finally read enough books with my main pet in order to reach max level in the SAI job. Now it's just a matter of time until I reach the top in that job.

The weather here has been in the high 80s to low 90s for a while. We are also suppose to get thunderstorms every day for the next week. I'm really sick of the rain already. At least my roof no longer leaks though. I had to get it fixed less than a month ago.

Every year on the 4th I put on Independence Day 1&2. I always make popcorn & invite others but so far nobody has ever shown up. Local fireworks don't start until 9PM & that's when Subeta resets so I'm usually doing quests.

Oh that's a bummer. I definitely would show up for that! Boston does a big fireworks display with The Boston Pops Orchestra putting on a concert beforehand. There are a lot of towns around us who will be doing fireworks leading up to the 4th, but with the rain for most of the week, I suspect ALL the 4th of July fireworks will be delayed. Our town will be doing fireworks in a few weeks. It coincides with the yearly carnival that comes to town.

I checked out a job agency guide to see what the best job I can get for each of my pets is. SAI is the highest paying, but has major requirements including 1600 intelligence. I have most of my pets at the Delphi Art Museum since it only requires 150 intelligence. In time I may get them better jobs, but it depends on how many books I end up reading to each of my pets.

1 of my pets is SAI and some of the others might qualify. I'll have to check some day.

There's a link included in the Job Agency Guide in the forums where you can enter your pet's stats and it'll tell you the best paying job available for your pet. Some of my pets aren't able to get much pay, but I train them when I can...sometimes that's only once per day, but it all adds up.

I think my pet Zilpah is close to qualifying for SAI or she already can. When I adopted her, she had already been read a huge amount of books.

I just put over $1600 on a credit card (thankfully hubs can pay it off) to get my car new tires, an oil change, and an inspection. The tires were so bald in the front, I was not allowed to take it on the highway. Hopefully your car is road ready soon!

I always forget about that! I'm grateful for those reminders. :)
