Am sure you do not want this question but will you be placing Serene Temple Memento which is absolutely gorgeous in your shop after the raffle and contests? Please.
Quest 1
When I was in college, I spent the summer in Istanbul studying at Boğaziçi University. Two of my favorite sights there were Galata Kulesi (Galata Tower), which is close to the university and Kız Kulesi (Maiden's Tower) which is near the southern entrance to the Bosporus, closer to the Asian side.

Five years ago when my sister was working for the UN and living in Nairobi, I visited her. My entry is a photo I took during our safari at Maasai Mara (contiguous the Serengeti in Tanzania). The sun was going down and we could see a storm on the horizon. It was so incredibly beautiful. And then so. very. wet. This is probably my favorite scenic photo I've ever taken.

This last one is just for fun. I took it when I was at the aquarium. It looked like the penguin was checking its weight and I thought it was really funny xD
My favorite place to visit was New Zealand! I absolutely loved the atmosphere. Drive an hour outside of Auckland and you were in a jungle off the beach or drive an hour south and you were in the countryside. Drive a little more and you were in rocky volcanic formations. Here are a few of my favorite pics I took of the north island to give you an idea how much the landscape changes in not that large of a place.
All images are under the spoiler tag!
Is it okay if I combined quest 1 with the bonus? I uploaded a lot of photos I wanted to share haha. Let me know if I need to specify a pic as the bonus.

thank you so much for this chance :)
Quest 1
My favorite place to live so far has been Niagara falls Ontario. I do miss the sights now that I'm so far away, hopefully I'll get back there someday.

I really love Japan but unfortunately it's too far away to visit so I chose a place I've actually been to:
Scotland.
Beautiful country and landscape - plus the home of my all-time fav band: Runrig.

Haven't used that Bakeneko in ages so... it had to go in there as well :)
one more question, is the bonus quest a raffle or chosen?

I've been stalking that temple background. It is so beautiful.
This contest sounds fun! ❤ There's a lot to think about.
I'm changing my UN in a few days, so I hope to come back after to participate.

Earlier that same evening.
Bonus Kenya Pics by Me (or by guides using my camera) and my sister.
Hell's Gate
Hell's Gate National Park in Kenya
My sister and I went hiking here. On the drive there, I saw zebras in the wild for the first time. Most of it is a gorge/canyon. It was fascinating. There are active hot springs throughout the path. There are also "emergency escape ropes" to help people out of the gorge in case of flash flooding, which is not uncommon. In fact, a few days after we were there, a flash flood occurred that killed a guide and several tourists.

superb starling
I first saw these guys in Nairobi. They are everywhere. I named them pretty grackles. Because that's basically what they're like. These scraggly black but iridescent birds look a lot nicer when they've been well taken care of. But in streets and parking lots of Nairobi they look more like this. This was the nicest picture I got of one. They are now my favorite birds.
Maasai Mara
Here's a cool creek bed we crossed during our safari. We crossed several of them like this. They have a lot more water in them during the rainy season. We crossed a different one that was rather deeper and more alarming to cross. I just giggled nervously the whole time.
classic savannah tree
My sister took this picture. I'm sure I once knew what kind of tree and bird this is, but I've since forgotten. Oops. It would make for a cool CW though.
cheetah and prey
Probably the coolest thing we saw was a cheetah stalking an impala and then catching her pray. Apparently they start eating butt first. Who knew? This picture is from my sister.

This never to be tourist thanks you tremendously for these wonderful pictures.
Such a stunning photo! it came out beautifully and it looks like an incredible trip. Thank you so much for hosting
Quest 1
Grand Canyon! Specifically Ooh Aah Point along the Southern Rim. It's one of the most incredible things to see and the last trip I was able to go on so it holds a special place in my heart. The entire Canyon is breathtaking and makes you realize just how tiny you are compared to the massive canyon. Ooh Aah point also happens to be a good mile and a half down and actually a large ledge where I managed to cure my fear of heights!
Quest 2:
Private Outfit
Bonus:
It's been nearly 10 years since I took this but Yangshou, Guilin China, along the Li river, the Karst Mountains are incredible! I stayed next to Moon Hill but this trip down the river has to be one of the most jaw dropping parts of that study abroad. I have hundreds of photos just of this area but this one was my favorite with the rock face just peaking out of the greenery that grows up the sides. Also the water was a pure blue green that I've never seen so bright before!
I'd like to enter for contest number 1
This is the view of the beach in the city I grew up in - back when the pier still had a diner at the end of it and a wooden lifeguard station in the middle (diner burned down several years back after being vacant and the wood guard station burned down years before that and was replaced with a concrete one). If I think hard enough I can still smell the old wood, weathered by the ocean and filled with tons of brine smells. It's my favorite place on the planet, that town.
I'd love to slot on the Serene Temple Memento if possible if I do not win the raffle :)
I'm hoping that this okay as you said landmarks, and I consider this to be a landmark. This is the sculpture Make Way for Ducklings in the Boston Public Garden. Boston is one of my absolute favorite cities in the United States. There's so much history and I adore the people.

This was a waterfall we stopped at on a trip to Vermont. It was just by the side of the road and it was absolutely beautiful. A perfect spot to spend a bit of time relaxing. <3

In my front room on the wall above the area I am sitting in has a print of Make Way for Ducklings!
