When I think of one of my favorite places, I think of this lotus and water lily pool in the New York Botanical Garden, specifically the Conservatory Courtyard, in the Bronx. It's particularly beautiful in the summer when the water lilies bloom. This garden has a special place in my heart.

One of my favorite places is Forest Park. Its massive, and is home to a number of wholesome attractions. The St.Louis zoo, art and history museums, a super fun outdoor opera house amphitheater. I like to pack a lunch and vibe on art hill above the massive fountain. This picture is from the front of the old Worlds Fair Pavilion.

My phone camera is a bit old. But I like the color balance. No idea what that white ghost looking thing in the tree is/was lol. Taken inside the St.Louis zoo during a recent event. Mr.Flamingo was not alone, just being a loner. The rest of the squad was off to the right living their best lives.

This is one of the entrances to Otāri-Wilton Bush. It is a reservation which was initially 7 hectares that a settler named Job Wilton kept largely untouched when all of the land was being cleared for houses by settlers and farmers back in the 1800's. It now encompasses 100 hectares and is the only botanical garden in NZ that is dedicated soley to our native flora! One of my favourite places to go to enjoy seeing an untouched piece of what New Zealand used to look like, see the eels/tūna and enjoy birdsong from a wide range of our native birds.

Taiwan remains my favourite country to visit - something about the familiarity of the country and their native language makes it feel like home, yet everything from how friendly the people are, to their history, culture and food makes it better than home. I chose an image of the many night markets they have to feature here as it's one of my favourite things about their culture - you get to experience many local food through their night markets very inexpensively, and it's always an experience mingling with their locals and other tourists in one of these. It's not glamorous, but it's close to my heart.Quest 2

This image is still from a night market, but I took this featuring one of my favourite stalls that I always make a point to return to when I'm back in Taiwan. Might be a weird choice of a CW background, but I've always wanted to recreate night market scenes wherever possible and Subeta isn't an exception for me.
