i have also hit the nice ol 15 years today on subeta!

i guess that means i've been here since i was 11/12, buuuut also i'm a super casual user and now that i'm older, i've really only been hopping on for holidays and to sometimes change my HA. still wild to think about ye olden days!!

my adventure definitely started with neopets and then briefly joining related sites (marapets, powerpets) until i finally found subeta through gaia, actually lol. but the community here and just the vibe of everything is so much better.

i joined when i was 28!! just turned 29 last month and have been here since march of this year (22)!!!

i was 11 and i found it from neopets. i hopped to a lot of pet sites in my time but none really stuck to me like subeta did. i guess it was the events and the plots that went with them. survival is my favorite.

I was 22 when I joined, with this account but I think I had one before this because I remember having specific pets and I have drawings of them X'D But who knows what happened to that account.

But yeah I love this site, I don't play it enough x'D But I've been trying to get back into it. I still also love Neopets and there's a bunch of other fun petsites I love, but Subeta is definitely one of the best right now I feel like.

Been here nearly 17 years, and joined when I was about 13-14. I originally learned about it from an online friend who I played Neopets with. I joined for the art first, and gradually got more involved with the community. How active I've been on the site has ebbed and flowed, though I check things more or less daily, depending on my IRL business and if there's an event happening.

I was 13/14 when I found it and 17.5 years later, here I still am (which is honestly wild to think about). I found it through another artist who had done some work for Neopets way back in the day, and she had a few old Subeta pet's art on her page. I really liked the look of said pets and was desperately looking for something other than the iron fist Neopets was ruled with at the time, so Subeta was a really nice escape - and still is.

I started 15 years ago when I was 13, and definitely heard about it through Neopets. The HAs set subeta apart and are still one of my favorite features on the site, though I also adore the holidays here. Survival is my favorite!

I started playing Subeta this year (age 17). I found it because I remembered having fond memories of games like Animal Jam, Neopets, and Club Penguin and I wanted to find a game like it that was tailored to a more mature audience and that's how I came across Subeta.

My sister used to let me help her with her account when I was 12, and she was 13-14. I'd play games and looks at all the cute pets. When I was 16 I started my own account (Years after my sister had stopped playing her account that is not lost to time) and I've been playing off-and-on ever since!

I was 11. I'm 26 now, crazy to think about how long it's been. I wasn't active for a huge chunk of time (had to rescue my account from being frozen) so some stuff on this account is like a time capsule of being in middle school.

I started when I was about 13 ish. It was recommended to me by a friend from another pet site. :) Haven't stopped since, love it. I'm 27 now.

hi! I also hopped from neopets. I was big into restocking then and a friend mentioned restocking was better here. here I am, 15-16 years later lol. I was the youngest in my friend group at the time and did some dumb stuff, even changed my username to 'vagina' at one point lol. but now I'm close to 30 and serious about my career! crazy how things work out

I was 14/15 when I joined, I believe. I'm 29 now so it's been a long time. I am not always active, I come and go in spurts but I feel a lot of nostalgia any time I find myself back here. A lot of users follow the neopets/gaia pipeline to subeta, it seems. There is and has always been a lot more freedom of expression on subeta. I'm hoping to stay on this time because I feel stuck in the house a lot lately as I've been working from home since 2020 and it's been harder to make friends.

Almost 15 and now I'm 30. I found it when I was bored at the library my freshman year of high school. Now I'm an adult and it's weird seeing everything on here that I used to love as a kid.

I joined at 15 and I'm approaching the 15 year mark... half my life here. it's quite touching to read the shared experience of other users - seems like a bunch of users share a similar story. I wonder if we can make it to another 15 years?

I think I joined while I was working at a motel, which must've been nearly 2 years ago but I'm not certain. I bet my profile says when I joined but I'll leave it a mystery to myself for the moment.

I was yet another Neopets refugee and though I've been very on and off here, I am enjoying it a lot.

I joined a few days ago and I'm 30. :) But I am here for the nostalgia and chill gameplay. I used to play Neopets when I was ~15 but it feels sad going back there now so I looked for something similar. I remembered hearing good things about Subeta and so far I love it here!

like 16/17 maybe? my friend from middle school and i were obsessed with virtual pet sites but i wanted something more like gaia. she was more into the pet aspect and i just wanted to dress up my avatar. i think she introduced me to subeta as a way for us to keep in touch while we went to separate high schools. that was 12 years ago. i'm going to be 29 this year and although i no longer speak to that friend, i still find myself here every year or two. life gets super busy and i ghost for months, but the nostalgia hits around the holidays like clockwork. it's been awesome to see a site grow with its userbase, it really feels like a community.
