I was in middle school I believe. I think I was looking for something better than Neopets. Something with better art, games, and more accessible fun colors and stuff. And so I stumbled across Subeta and never looked back lol

I was 30 / 31 ( 33 now ) - a friend of mine had played for a really long time and suggested it.

I think it was around high school. It was when Neopets had a major crash, and I looked for other pet sites. On one of those sites' forums, someone talked about this site called "Subeta", so I went to check it out, got hooked, and here I am. Best decision ever.

I was 18 when I joined, and now I'm 36. I found the site through an old fan site called Pink Poogle Toy that I had found while looking up information on Neopets. The site was only a few months old at the time... gosh I can't believe I've been here half my life. I have pets older than my own daughter.

I think I was about 14 or so. I believe it was my mother who found it for me, because I was really interested in virtual pet sites/avatar sites, but she didn't want me playing Gaia Online anymore. LOL

i found it when i was in college, looking for another niche pet website - now almost 25! time sure is soup sometimes.

i was an avid pet website player whne i was a kid i think i found subeta when i was ???? 11 <-- just did the math which was "legal" but. i always loved it i was such a hardcore player for such a long time. my favorite part about it was i found it exactly on halloween so my subeta anni is on halloween. and i rememebr old graveyard kumos art all over the page. goodtimes

I was 16 (just made 16 years on the site yesterday!) and I saw an ad on a little pixel doll maker site (I don’t remember the name anymore). Neopets was my go to, but I didn’t like some of the revamps they were doing and when I saw Subeta’s art, I fell in love!

apparently i was 12. kinda a lot younger than i thought (i'm 29 now). i have pretty poor memory, so i couldn't exactly say how i found out about this place.. but i did really love neopets and must have gone looking for more virtual pet websites to join! no offense to the earlier artists, but i definitely didn't join subeta for the artwork LOL. the art direction was definitely different back then, but it also had that early 2000's cartoony charm... in ways, i miss it. i think it was because subeta was more for teens too and i, becoming a teen soon, felt cool. so nostalgic.

i forgot to answer what's made me stay.... i think its just the sheer amount of years i've spent here, on and off.. subeta has a way of being that makes it easy to get back into.. though its pretty archaic in many ways. and yea, the site and things i own, pets i own, are like time capsules. i've been here thru pretty distinct times in my life.

I was 16 going on 17! I was casually searching for other pet websites similar to Powerpets, as that's where I came from. Powerpets has less quality graphics, and less everything, so I gladly switched here!

I was about 15. Me and my friend had left neopets, had tried something called marapets, then we ended up here. I've been on here on and off ever since.

15! I’m about to be 29 in a week 🌝 I used to play neo religiously but they got so strict with rules even at the time, so I decided to migrate here

I was 18. I found it I think thru a ad on Gaia Online or one of Gaias tool websites.

I was 12 I think, I'm 27 now. I've tried other websites like flightrising, aywas, chickensmoothie & a dog breeding game i forgot the name of, but subeta is always something I come back to.

Apparently I was 17 when I decided to join. I might have known the site existed before then, because I learned about this site after checking out some art from one of my favourite artists. I definitely remember their upload of a Kumos and another of a Dragarth.

I was 13 (23 now) but i havent done much on this site to show for it T_T I'm getting back into old browser games and this one was always a fave because of the cute pet art. I made it a goal to slowly start building my plushie collection and get into battling with a pet :)

I was 14 when I started, 29 now. I used to play a lot of Neopets and Gaia, so when I saw an ad on one of the Gaia wardrobe sites for Subeta, I kind of fell in love. I've gone through periods of inactivity, but I've been a pretty accurate player for most of these past 15 years and I plan to keep playing until the heat death of the site.

Like 26 or 27, I made a post about neopets being broken and awful now, but still missing it, and my friend commented and recommended subeta as a good alternative

I started playing when i was 14 or 15? and now I've been here on and off for 11 years almost 12. I forget how I ended up here. Probably with the Great Migration from Neopets to Subeta lol This place is such a source of comfort and enjoyment for me <3 Love it and all the people here
