Here's a cult-themed HA! by Anrivef They worship the sun god. One day they decided to trap him in the corporeal realm so it would always be daytime. They set up an offering and performed an elaborate ritual to summon him, alongside their admittedly rudimentary trap. But the gods don't take kindly to being tricked, and certainly can't be held by ropes. A few moments after that, the villagers were all burned to a crisp in a solar flare.
Your HA instantly reminded me of a beautifully crappy anime I watched many years ago and enjoyed every second of. Yes, I'm bothering you with a ping just to express my gratitude. Sorry.
