I'm American, so... Even with everything stupid happing here, it's still beautiful. So, here I am posing in front of Haystack rock at Cannon Beach in Oregon. Legit, it's World CLASS. It's been used in movies; even though every time I go there, it rains. They don't allow camping on the beach, but there is camping EVERYWHERE ELSE. LOL Outfit Not Found

My HA is very avant-garde. I'm from America and, honestly, there's not a lot to be proud of these days. But, I am forever grateful that I was born and raised in a very diverse area. So I wanted to showcase the "melting pot."

The USA is a social and political nuthouse at the moment, but here in the high Sierras the snow is still lingering on the mountain peaks, and the spring flowers are finally blooming. I guess I'm proud to live in a place where bears, birds and people can still roam the hills.

I live the USA and in farm country and a lot of the nations crops are grown where I live. This is a sample of the daily chores that have to be done on the farms out where I live.

Germany is a smaller country yet our 16 states are very different. Most people think only Bavarian when they think Germany and imagine dirndl and Schuhplattler, LOL.
I was born in an area of a melting pod where migrants of all kind of countries came together which gave me interesting insights into cultures during my youth. Nowadays, I live more rural in the backcountry.
We have beaches (like the ones I posted of Sylt the last days) but we also have lower and high mountains for skiing and winter fun and large forests and lakes.
I think of what we all are proud is a really basic thing: bread! Bread (Brot) is a significant part of German cuisine, with the largest bread diversity in the world. Around 300 kinds of breads and bread rolls (Brötchen) and 1,200 different kinds of pastries and rolls are produced in our country. My fav, btw, are lye rolls in a triangular form with lots of nuts and kernels.

Thank you so much for the mention, love! I am always working against the impression Germany is Great Bavaria, LOL.
And I wish I could share all my breads with you all. I remember fondly a vacation in the Netherlands. The bakery was so crowded that you had to pull a number. All the breads looked the same, white, boxy and soft. Only one, high at a board above, showed a more sturdy form and a brown crust. Breathless with excitement, we waited for our turn to choose one, hoping all the time nobody would take it away. Finally, we were next in line and sure enough, we could buy the bread. We took it home, on tiptoe, only to find out that inside, it was the same as all other breads: white, soft, tasteless and no whole grain, LOL.

I simply adore Halloween. I love to decorate, dress up, hand out candy, go to costume parties, watch spooky movies, the whole thing. I'm basically the joke that when it's Halloween time the stores finally have my year-round decor for sale. LOL

I've never done one of these/recall doing one yet so hopefully I did this right! I really enjoy the Autumn holidays <3 the changing of the colors that slowly fade in the coming of winter is like walking into a living painting. Between spooky season and a significant time of feasting around friends and family provokes a sense of warmth. My fiance and I are also getting married next October and I'm super excited ^-^
