Okay here we go! A novel:

Type of Music Requested: Character Theme for Taika! I've provided some refs in previous posts and also I just remembered I have a youtube playlist for them too! Feel free to hmu on Discord if you want any more information about them, etc. I'll want this for my pet and just to share in general as it'll be attached to them as my D&D character.

Music Style: I really like your style that you've got up on Soundcloud! Absolutely adore the track Road Shimmer; those chord progressions give me the music chills. Main Theme is tight also so basically do in your style! I'm also super into synthwave and like music these days (Stuff like LO, Gunship, and game soundtracks like Furi and Far Cry Blood Dragon).

Describe What You Want: Probably 4/4 time to keep things simple, however I always loved insane time signatures Nobuo throws into older Final Fantasy games. Comes to mind are his battle themes from Final Fantasy 8 (5/4 time and I'm pretty sure it goes to 7/4 time for a measure or two) and Final Fantasy 7 (Unsure of the signature on this one but the internet says this is in 4/4 time. I highly doubt it and would guess 6/8 or 6/4). So like, if you wanna get experimental, go for it! I'm not looking for a battle theme per se, but something that is both dark and upbeat. Taika is a fighter but they've got a very bleak outlook on the world due to the hand they've been dealt since their birth. Perhaps something dark and moody (minor key) with an oh so faint glimmer of hope (major key)?

Length of Audio Track: Hmmm unsure! Somewhere in between 1-2 minutes. I will pay you for a full 2 minutes regardless!

I do see that your slots are full, but I did want to ask, how comfortable are you with branching outside of your current sound? I would obviously still love something similar to your current examples because they're absolutely incredibly, but the characters I'm thinking of lean a little more into a dark techno vibe than the sweeping fantasy tracks you have displayed on your soundcloud.

This is a great idea though and I really love this! Reminds me of a lot of the incredible original music I've heard on podcasts! Will be back when your slots are open!

I'd be willing to try something more on the techno side! I definitely have the plugins/sounds to make stuff with those sorts of vibes, anyway, although I can't guarantee how successful I'll be. 😅 What would help me is if you could give me some links to the type of techno music you want me to emulate, so I can listen in and get a feel for it!
