8/21 Welcome to my favorite day, it's SUNDAY FUNDAY! Today just happens to be Spumoni Day. The three most well-known flavors of this ice cream are chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry. So dress in your favorite three flavors and let's celebrate sweetness!
Personally, I like chocolate, pistachio and cherry!

Though, I have found that some of my favorites are combo flavors, like the brambleberry one that Jeni's sells, but that'd be so hard to make an outfit with three complex flavors like that. So I when I'm keeping it simple, I tend to go for vanilla, cherry, or cake.
But I'd also like to give a shout out to two hard to come by flavors - First, cantaloupe. I grew up in an area of Ohio that has a festival called the Melon Fest, and an Ohio based ice cream maker always makes cantaloupe ice cream by the five gallon buckets every year for that festival. I miss it. The other flavor is peach. I had peach ice cream once and I've dreamed of having it again, but apparently it's something that's uncommon to find unless you live in the south. I've never seen it in stores, that's for sure.
