yeah it's a bummer. I hope it'll be ready to come off on my next doctor visit! Well the other doctor told me the location of the wound is harder to heal so I guess it kinda depends on the person. My current doctor did mention I'm healing so slowly. i am sure overworking it to start with didn't help, nor did some of the walking the nurse told me i could do without a cast on. Plus being diabetic isn't helping either. So just gotta let it heal. lol yay being boring ;) cute ha btw

so far my summer's been kinda lame. I can't even sit in a splash pool at the moment thanks to the leg cast I have on. However, I've been working on crafts at least :D yours?

LOL taking the boot off was what led me to get the hard cast. LOL I told the doctor the temptation to not put it back on was starting to become overwhelming ;) hope your healing goes well. LOL right? I want this sucker gone now lol.

That's great news she seems to be back on her schedule! We had a busy weekend but I think Liz had a good time. She ate a hot dog, a cheeseburger, (hot dog and burger both with lots of mayo lol) chips, ice cream bar, cookies and potato salad at my union barbecue yesterday. :-D And this is cool - we met an up and coming young boxer that was parked right next to us and when we went to leave he was getting into a car on the same side I was getting into my car. His trainer was bragging about him to another person in the parking lot so of course I had to tell him I loved boxing. (I don't watch it as much these days but I used to years ago.) His name is Jose Valenzuela and he'll be on PPV on September 4th. and he was a lot cuter in person than his pics online. And he was very sweet and we had a nice conversation - I probably reminded him of his grandma. 😂

Any progress? Are you getting used to the walker yet?

My dogs are both doing ok. The old yorkie still going strong. I think he's around 16 but could be older per the vet. The crazy chihuahua is still crazy. :-D

- i'm getting used to the boot. the walker is another thing altogether... a blind person with a wheeled contraption is deadly. 😆 i run into the walls and door frames way more now than i ever did without it. 😂

Since my mom made it so often when I was growing up I just always tried to copy hers. I may have asked her for the ingredients the first few times I made it. You could go on Pinterest and find one that sounds good to you. My PC rebooted while in the middle of this comment and when it came back on it was still there! :-D My lucky day! :-P

Ugh I can imagine how tricky it is to be blind and using a walker. I sure would have to learn some patience for that. :-) You're such a strong human!!!!!

I sure hope they come in ok! Here's what I put in potato salad: Russet potatoes, mayo (sometimes some plain greek yogurt to make it healthier), mustard (I like whole grain), chopped yellow (or sweet) onions, chopped dill pickles, dill pickle juice, hard boiled eggs, salt, pepper. And sometimes chopped celery, if I have it on hand. And then chili powder on top. I don't measure anything, just add until it looks/tastes right. Lol
