With my foot still in a cast and mum's busted shoulder the chance of anyone going anywhere is nil lol. We aren't even doing much for each other's bdays this year. Even with covid we've done family activities at home but that's now limited with mum having harder doing things with her arm.

We're cool until Wednesday and then hitting a high of 70. :-D We've come close to hitting some all time records this year. And last year too as we reached around 108 last summer and that's something I've never seen here. Yeah girls and moms are bound to butt heads at some point. :-P

You poor thing! So tough getting anything done sometimes. Since Liz finished all of her public schooling I've mostly given up. I used to be a big time neat freak and now I'm a slob. :-D

I've heard it's impossible to buy a used vehicle right now. :-( My hubs was thinking about replacing his 22 year old truck and our mechanic told him to just keep it for now. Lucky for us it's still in good shape and runs well too.

i can handle them as they aren't hard to get rid off and to keep away.

About 7 or 8 years ago we had a flea infestation with 2 cats and 4 dogs. Ugh what a mess! We put down Diatomaceous Earth all over our house. What a friggin mess!! Ughhhhh

thankfully ours didn't get past just the animals being infested and having to mow the grass where the big dogs were. but we also used a spray of some sort.

I'm going to need you to send me pictures of all your veggie plants 😍 I'm obsessed with looking at gardens now! LOL! I'm thinking next year I will get one of those big metal tubs from home depot and throw it on my back deck and get some tomato plants to put in it! I would LOVE a squash plant too because I love me some yellow squash 😍 We will see how things are going after the first of the year though! Because we would really love to have our back deck torn down and rebuilt because ours is ROUGH! So we will see how the funds are looking next spring >_< At this point you just need one machine dedicate to skittles 😂 I'm so excited to order from youuu! I haven't told my husband yet because I want it to be a surprise XD

It was so weird and I've never had anything like it before or since. Fleas were everywhere in our house and on all of the pets. The cats were indoor cats and the dogs only outside in our yard or on walks.

56 here today :-) Honestly, I feel sorry for you and I did used to live in Atlanta (Liz was born there) and it could be miserable with the heat. And that was with "normal temps" :-(

I don't like to go places and do things either. I sometimes still enjoy it though 😆 it was stressful and exhausting, but I am glad I went. I'm also not doing it again for at least a year! I drove 8 hours in two days and barely slept in the hotel room.

Could you do things on your own? Maybe get some respite care for your daughter and go visit a friend or relatives?

Yes please! This week will be like yours...in the 100s all week. I'm not ready :( That's a good idea to have a container garden, hopefully it will work out next year :D We have the herbs in containers and everything else in the ground.
