Yes, he will show up even if the dancefloor looks broken. He shows up the same way as last year, with a little pop-up over the dancefloor, daring you to duel with him.
I've gotten 2 duels so far so yes it does still work. At least for normal dancing. Don't know if he can actually show up if you go to the dance floor for a mystery dance, though.

Everything still broken here, too. No sight of Boudewijn, either, but I chock that up to my gawdawful luck seeing him any year.

To chime in on others' Boudewijn concerns, I got an error mid-duel yesterday. He popped correctly over the broken ballroom, I clicked one of the weapons, he said choose again so I chose again, and I got the 404 beast telling me Boud hadn't challenged me.
Broken images and Firefox; each page is telling me (with the broken images) that the page is not secure.
So sad, we make all this lovely outfits and now we can't see them. Hope it's being able to fixed soon, Masq is my fav event around. I try to make a new outfit daily.

Has anyone else been having loading problems with the site? Off and on, I keep getting blank pages. I have to refresh a number of times before the main page loads.

The dance floor has been broken since the start for me. And now I'm lucky to get any pages to load. Most of them are blank or I get the error 500 page.

No, he'll still show up. I've been challenged by him twice now. You still have to go to the dance floor, even tho' it's broken, and he will show up at the top of the screen like Tempest does.
Sure hope this gets resolved soon. I miss seeing everyone's outfits and how we look together.
