Ooo yay for long weekend! Doing anything fun this weekend?

I hear you. I've been sleeping okay, just not much. I can't go to bed till 6am to help make sure Mum's okay with her sugar levels overnight. We are trying to find foods that hold it up longer.

yeah fair point. I would have a hard time picking a favorite book too. have you ever used the goodreads app? that's how I keep track of all the books I read! I will have to look into those book series though. I haven't heard of them before.

Another favorite series of mine that I would recommend to almost anyone is the Murderbot series by Martha Wells. It is about an artificial person who was created as a sort of robot with better judgment than an AI about people who does security guard duties, freed itself and made friends and got into danger and then out again. It is a huge fan of media and rather curmudgeonly and entertaining of a personality.

I have not used Goodreads, I tried a few times but it was too hard to remember to keep up with entering stuff I had read. One year I typed up a list in my personal blog (when I had one) but that only lasted until about April when I got tired of keeping track (and that was easier than using Goodreads) 😆

that is a huge worry, I hope the new device helps, and I hope you get a chance to sleep longer times soon. ❤

Farmville is still around although it's called Farmville 2 now. I had to go check and it wouldn't load and could be why I stopped playing. Once everyone got rid of flash some of the online games are tricky to load on my antique PC. :-D

This is to anyone: On Thursday I took my Tiny Terror to the vet and after an x-ray because he was acting like he couldn't poop, although he actually had been, and the vet said he needed an enema and then we got meds for pooping and high anxiety. Last night he barked all night long and I've had 2-3 hours sleep. Argghhhh Not sure but I think one of the meds are making an already crazy chihuahua even crazier. 😬 Lactulose (for pooping) and Fluoxetine (for anxiety) if anyone knows anything about either of those dog meds.

fluoxetine is Prozac and lactulose is a laxative, so that's what your dog is on now. : pats doggie : I'm sure adjusting to them isn't going to be great, but, hopefully he'll do better once he's adjusted.

I Goggled them both and read the same thing. But it didn't say it may make a dog hyper and crazy. (crazier) I don't know what I'm going to do tonight if he's still going crazy. And I am skipping giving them to him until the morning. Arrghhhhh Zzzzzz :-P I love when I'm in an HA groove!!

- i know you're having issues with your pooch but it just strikes me as funny that he barks at his buttwhen he's got to poo. reminds me of some patients i had to deal with when i worked in health care. rofl :P 😀

- what is the name of the fantasy series you're reading now? i can't remember and hubby can't find it... :)

- i can commiserate. i flaked out yesterday because i couldn't remember what my youngest looked like at 10 (he was 10 when i lost my vision). i had to do the old blind-person-feel-the-face routine to see what he looks like now. didn't help my memory of his 10 yr old self but it gave me an idea, ya know? poor kid got my nose... 😂

- there's not much the nurses/docs can do for low blood sugar except monitor her levels on a strict schedule and give her something sweet (graham crackers or orange juice) if her sugar starts to bottom out. that's not an excuse for them not checking her bs regularly ( 4 times a day at the least). my endocrinologist told me to get glucose tablets from the pharmacy and have them handy if my bs crashes. i'm surprised the doc didn't adjust her diabetic meds since they were causing the crash. then again, i hope i never get sick in georgia as your health care system stinks. i hope you are doing better. you seem to be in a better mood and that's awesome! i hope your doc appt goes well. i'm so, so sorry you have to deal with that evil machine. i honestly don't know what they think it will benefit. i was told it was supposed to stimulate my muscles. x.xall it ever did was hurt. (i think they're all secret sadists. ;) ) hugs ❤

they both have side effects or primary effects of making the dog feel like it's got to poop more/ making it need to poop more, so maybe that's what's making him bark so much?

haha well weekends aren't all they are cracked up to be :P I'm excited because I will only have my stepkids for 1 month this summer and then its just my son and well he's 17 and in his own world/super independent and he likes to play with his little sister so after the first month I should have some time LOL! Happy Birthday to your Mama! Sorry you haven't been able to see her in a few years...long distance is so hard! I'm sure she'll understand on the gift :) What are you getting her? :)

yeah Harvest moon is old school but it was like before stardew valley and its on the switch soooooo it could be fun (I think it would be fun) Stardew is more like you are interacting with all the town folks all the time, planting seeds/watering crops daily (except when it rains) because then you sell the "harvest" for money to buy upgrades for everything else :) The barn/animals you want cause again you can sell the fur/milk/butter etc from it all :P I find it therapeutic and you aren't really "decorating" like AC and AC does have an add on...I can't remember the name...but Designer island?? You buy it and then you can go to other "islands" and design new homes for people...daughter LOVES it lol :)

ohhh interesting on your test results! That's so weird...Mine had all the details about it all? I wonder if there was something you could click to get more info as mine had details on what each of them meant haha :P I guess you could google each one to find out but that seems like too much work :P Harvest Moon would be fun :D I haven't done the switch version ever LOL but I did the older version 64 and it was just as much fun to me as AC and Stardew :D You'll have to let me know how you like it if you get it :) The enchiladas were good...a little thick :P we use regular flour toritllas and my mix was a bit runny so I couldn't wrap them as small as I normally do LOL! I was thinking next time it might be good without tortillas and just like serve over rice with some beans/cheese/sour cream and maybe some like tortilla chips? and ohhhhhhhh made from scratch refried beans? I've never made them before but I have been stocking up on beans (just in case) do you use pinto beans? I do love refried beans with onions/garlic :o I probably would double onion/garlic as the beans can be pretty bland (at least the ones from a can) I was thinking of "canning" some beans so later I could smush them into refried beans/not have to cook them all day haha :)

that's great news!!! vitamin D/fresh air REALLY is fabulous! <3 we got warm and now its in the 60's again so its nice but still chilly without a sweater (currently till next week) but I can't wait till its HOT and I can just go outside and enjoy some sunshine :)
