So this is too late for this year, but I was reflecting on how this holiday generally only mildly excites me. Not because of the theme (though I sometimes miss the more Oktoberfest themed types of items), but because aside from picking up a few new items there's nothing to do or work toward. I get excited about waiting for the new releases, rush to pick up everything, and then it's more or less done.

So what if we had floating plastics and trash that you could snag to turn in to the recycle beast? During the holiday, he'd accept those items every day. It fits the theme, could be fairly easy to incorporate (using existing mechanics and currencies), and would give a real boost to that feature and a yearly chance to rack up recycle points.

Everything else about the holiday would stay the same. The same shops we have now, method of buying those items, etc. Maybe a couple items get diverted to the RB for release but not much.
