I got to go to the Fresno Art Hop with my Author Mark, Glitter and Ellepepper! I had an Apricot Sour Ale, The Chinatown Underground Marshmallow Stout Ale, some German roast beef, a bratwurst, a pretzel, a pecan cinnamon roll with extra cream cheese frosting, and a bunch of stickers! There were food trucks all along a six block street downtown, live rock and roll bands, all the microbreweries were open and all the other little food shops and art galleries were open. The venders were local artists and crafters (Including and ) and I had a wonderful time! I want to go next month! I think the ale makes me talkative.....

Hey, sorry if I got my signals crossed. I didn't see at first that I was being referred to a different team and just thought Violet had invited me aboard hers. I think I'm probably not online frequently enough to play, though, if I got confused that easily to begin with. I'll bow out and hope both your teams have great success. Thanks anyway!

Sorry for the runaround, but I do think it's better if I bow out. I went hunting for the travelers gthread to try and catch myself up and couldn't locate it, though I did see the absolutely extraordinary amount of work that has put into this RPG. I'm stricken by the creativity that's gone into it, but also increasingly convinced that I underestimated the degree of focus and presence it would take to participate. You can use the HA in that contest if you care to, though I daresay you can do others many times better. Just say that character took a hermit crab-related wound on the ankle which turned septic and died (or fell off the dock into deep shark-infested waters, what have you ;)).

: It was so good! Warm, freshly baked right there in the food truck, and it was huge! I had to be careful eating it because my tooth didn't like the sugar or the nuts. I had to eat it like Weldon would, little dainty nibbles, savoring every nibble as if it were the most precious thing to be eating on the world. AND IT WAS! The stoutly was the perfect thing to wash it down: a coffee/chocolate/marshmallow-fluff extra-stout ale. Elepepper got me some to take home and I'm drinking one right now as I type this. I only wish that I had a pecan cinnamon bun with extra cream cheese frosting on it right now too. Say what you want about Fresno, but this big city has a very big beating heart with lots of very good art, food, music, beer, and sense of community.

Props to my team for doing a great job! Especially for posting in my absence. I've been dealing with some important, sad and painful issues lately. She is the best! Thanks again to my team the GRRrrrEAT ORGANIZED CHAOS! (Merlot was organized, I was chaos. )

yes maybe tomorrow with my daughter then a walk on the beach afterwards when all the delight is inside of us and comes forth with the froth of the sea at our feet...sighs happily ya JUST like that . We are definitely going tomorrow!!

All righty then! I see I need to clarify a few details:

1. If we hit technical difficulties of ANY kind, I extend deadlines. This was clear when the Lodge was hard to navigate and the wardrobe glitched for a lot of you (like it NEVER does that on Subeta cough choke) and the smails flew into my box. I didn't even post a deadline to allow you to form teams and get yourselves together.

However, most of the HAs should be up on the story thread by now, although I don't see a lot, and I'll make an official scoring board. I don't see a lot of avatars yet, though, so get yours in to your captains if you haven't

2. People form teams with those they feel comfortable with, so don't just assign someone to a "small team" when they haven't offered. It's rude. There are no team limits, so you can take on or not as you wish. I suspect felt uncomfortable for more that just Lodge difficulties. She made one of the most gracious exits I have ever seen, but you know what? I don't want her to go!

. don't leave us! Yes, this is me asking you to stay, and play with your friends! I'm as near as my profile, and I hold hands. Also. don't listen to small or large team chatter. Teams work because they do, they feel comfortable, and they're invested in each other. (I'll stack my tabletop hours--never wasted, and I did manage to get my degrees--up against anyone's!) So, stay., please!!

3. Be good to each other, and relax. This one is way scaled down for max fun I hope, since we're in that kind of world climate. Be good to me too if you can swing it. It's always valued.

You know, I hate that you get to hear all the unhappy people. Because I'm in awe and amazement of how you pull this off, and you're kind and funny and don't explode at people with darts like I feel I would seeing some of the stuff that gets said to you. So... please don't ever feel you aren't very valued by most of us. <3

And I'm sorry for any uncomfortable things. :( I hope we'll all sit and chill and enjoy this. <3

Hey, Thank you so much for leaving the door open. I felt so welcomed and eager to participate, if I hadn't blundered out of the gate and then become inundated with Real Life obligations I would definitely rethink my wimpy take-backsies behavior.

Your game looks like a rollicking good time. Sadly, I'm too much on the hook to rejoin now, but if you don't mind lurkers on the public-facing forums I'll pop my head in to try and understand what is the what so I'm in a more informed place to jump onto a team when they're next recruiting and once the real world stuff cools off. Have a grand time at the beach! :D

You're much too hard on yourself. I rushed to accept your invitation because it made me happy to be included, but got overwhelmed and backed out. No blame attaches to you, , , or the seller at the farmer's market whose delicious honey gave me a sugar rush and made me impulsive then regretful. ;) All good everyone! Thank you for inviting me. how long is the game, or each "chapter" of a game? I can't rejoin now, but if there will be a new phase or other good point to join in a few months, I would be honored to be reinvited then. If that doesn't work for your storytelling, I regret having to pass on the chance to join now. Thank you so much for being so warm and understanding.

I would've loved to join but I can't. Not enough time or steady access to my computer. It's to hard for me to play on my phone or Kindle. If I get the font big enough to read I can't see all the page. Frustrating.
