Unfortunately this is bound to happen with event items. I will check with the programmer who sets this up but there may be nothing we can do right now.

Please remember that there is the option to borrow, buy or use a bird you already have.

I just heard from the programmer. We will look at extending bird watching after survival to make up for the competition from the flowers.
