So a couple of my planned pets have stories/themes that incorporate mental illness and the complications that come with that, including.... well okay let's just say including the inciting incident of 13 Reasons Why (not sure if I can say the phrase without getting iced).

These are purely from an educational standpoint (see my pet Bipolar) as there is no intention to glamourizeental illness, rather to contextualize and educate. My question is: is that allowed? Am I only allowed to vaguely reference darker elements of mental illness or am I allowed to directly refer to these issues?

since this is a question regarding the rules your best bet would probably be to file a ticket and ask staff (:

Serrated

My pet Florissa is NOT allowed to be spotlighted due to her content. BUT she is allowed to have her story up. (poem).
I lost Cozens' story. :( but it was about murder or rather unseen off screen but you know very well what they did murder. And that was allowed not sure if that could have been spotlighted tho. But if you are not looking to win a pet spotlight trophy then as long as it falls within the PG13 rating and not hitting the graphic content then it should be fine.

I had made a ticket to ask about Cozens story and it was greenlighted. Maybe that would be a good way to make sure for yourself? In case you do overstep with content? anyways, good luck :)

You should file a ticket about this - only staff will be able to give you an answer! Please also keep in mind that some things, while they may be allowed on site, may not be appropriate for the Pet Spotlight.
