Day 2 Hometown: Umm I guess I like the size of my hometown. It is not too populated that it seems crowded but it is big enough to have supermarkets and fast food restaurants. I also like the weather. For the most part it does not get too cold although we are going through a cold snap right now. They do not usually last too long.
My hometown is a little place in North East England. It's lovely up here.
bamburgh castle
Alnwick Castle
theatre royal
angel of the north
kielder observatory
Add to that our famous bridges, Roman wall and ruins, The North Pennines, and lots of lovely forest, beach and hilly walks and you've got a pretty great place. Apparently Kielder Forest is famous for its unpolluted starry skies and is actually the largest expanse of dark night sky in the whole of Europe. Which is pretty impressive for the UK. Plus the locals are some of the friendliest around. Apparently Newcastle has been voted one of the UK's friendliest cities so we have that going for us.
Come visit us!
Day 2 - My hometown is a small city, better know for "city of towers". I love the fact you can visit many of the towers and just enjoy the citiy between old and new buildings. I only know to live in a small city, but i really appreciate it. The balance between the past and now is also shown in it's festivals like a parade once a year with traditional clothing, worn by students from schools around the city. What i also love are the many local and family run stores! =)

I've never really understood the concept of a hometown. XD I've lived in Sydney for the longest so far. though. I like the parks here (although I love parks anywhere). Mostly I like that I have friends all over town. Seems crazy tbh!
My hometown is back in China.... not much that I like about - too many people, crowded public places, and most important of all: pollution. Oh, the only thing I like about is their restaurants: many many variety of foods we can have. I remember flying back to China for about a year - We'd go eat out almost every day 😂 I feel a lot of foods back in China is not available here
Hometown: There isn't much to say about my hometown but I'm very glad I live in an area where there are lots of Asian restaurants around. :D
day 2: hometown i love going to my hometown! since our country is small af, i go back home quite a lot c: nature (the woods there) is what keeps me coming back, i love taking the dog out for long walks back home ^^
Day 2: I like how easy it is to get to different areas from my hometown. It's easy to walk through town at any time of day and it is close to different stores and etc without having them in the town itself.

My hometown isnt anything special. I was born there but my parents moved a year after I was born. There is a festival thats really fun every year called the Jazz fest I enjoy it a lot, lots of booths and events and fun things to do
Hometown: I don't really have a hometown and I've always felt that disconnect with that. We moved a lot while I was growing up and never set up roots anywhere. While I've teased my husband about how he lived in the same house from the time he was born until we got married I've always been a little envious of the stories he'd tell about growing up there.
My hometown is situated in the Ruhr area in Germany, Northrhine-Westfalia, 50 miles from Dusseldorf. It's a big melting pot where all kind of people live together, from many many different countries around the world, this caused by the coal industry which had its heydey 40 years ago. The children from the immigrants stayed and we have a hodgepodge now with different cultures and cuisines. I like seeing people living this tolerant together and I also like to taste all the different dishes this area has to offer because of this.

- oh my goodness. Absolutely beautiful! ❤
My offical hometown was a small town in Wisconsin. So beautiful, I love to go back to visit but am happy to live without all the snow they get. LOL. My hometown is a small town outside of Orlando. Close enough to enjoy everything a big town has to offer yet small enough to be away from the crowds and traffic. And more impoirtantly, close enough to still get back to G'ville for the games. (Here's hoping this new year with all the changes will be good to us all! Go Gators! ;) )
Merry UnBirthday! :)
When I think of my hometown I think of the great (Euro) ethnic diversity brought to my little corner of Pennsylvania. You are always in spitting distance of a place of worship, a pizza shop, & a bar 😅. Summers are the best because each church/group usually has a picnic or fest with AMAZING foods!
My hometowns geographic location is also pretty great: nestled into a gorgeous valley area, with numerous state parks that are great for hiking (when its not -6F like its been haha)! But its also within a few hours drive to major easy coast cities.. Its lovely to be able to take a day trip to NYC or Philly and come home to the quiet!
My hometown had a cow pasture right next to the elementary school when I was young, so we had frequent cow visitors that we could see from our classrooms and on the playground haha. Then the school bought more land and the cows went away :(

Jan 24 – Hometown I'm in the South of France, what I like about my hometown is that there is the beach but also a mountain overlooking the city, there is a so beautiful view of the whole town :)
Day 2, Jan. 24: I didn't stay for long in my hometown as my parents moved less than 2 years after I was born...then later moved back for a year. xP I moved around a lot as a kid, but eventually /did/ end up back in my hometown for the last 3 years of high school. c: I live in my hometown now (although I want to move to a different state). I guess I like all the trees in my hometown...it can be quite beautiful.
Day 2: My hometown has changed a lot since I left it back in 1988. The house I grew up in got a complete remodel on the outside and inside and is now unrecognizable to me. My old elementary school is now a nursing home. I think the pond where we used to feed the ducks is still there. I think most of the changes are for good, but it's sad to see your childhood disappear like that. I do have lots of memories on photos. I keep meaning to scrapbook them!! Someday I will. I just have too many things going on right now to add another thing to my long list!
Day 2 - I don't know that I really have a hometown. The town I spent the most time in growing up was a sprawling NJ suburb of Philadelphia. It didn't even have an actual town center. For me it was just the neighborhood I grew up which the last time I visited (which will likely have been the last time I ever visit) as soon as I turned into the development it felt like home. I didn't expect that. But I don't yearn to return. I think I wouldn't mind going back to NJ but not to anyplace I have already live in.
“Justice will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who are.” - Benjamin Franklin
"Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees, to deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people, making widows their prey and robbing the orphan." - Isaiah 10:1-2
Happy unbirthday!
Hometown I love the invigorating weather of my fine hometown. The diverse cultural landscape, great restaurants and wonderful people.

I use those blushes all the time too!
I especially love Charlie Belle's minion :)
Duchess CI looks adorable! & a 77 foot waterfall - wow!! Must be amazing
That's so funny! I guess towns and borders are always changing
I lived in SF for several years and there is definitely no place like it! I can't say I'd ever move back though
That sounds like a lot of fun - and like you have some cool costume ideas!
Those are some awesome pictures! I could definitely see myself coming to visit ;)
I like asking about hometowns because everyone has a different experience. It's okay to not have one place you think of as your hometown, though. That's how several of the younger members of my family feel because they have moved so much growing up. My dad has lived in the same house my entire life and has never lived in any other city - it's crazy to me!
I haven't been back for a game in almost 10 years I just realized :x Driving vs flying would definitely make that more likely to happen lol
