A medieval knight, with armour and helm and sword and... oh, well, a beard. A huge, long, flowing red beard. And yes, the helmet's visor is down, you can't see his face.
Key Details: a Grudgy (check second character ref for explanation) biting his beard or his tabard

Ok, not your typical magic-medieval-tale-princess. She's short. Very short. And smart (too smart, probably). She does not particularly like the idea of being a future queen - although her kingdom is very small, actually. She prefers to spend her time in the library, or travelling to feed her endless curiosity about the world.
She can be a bit know-it-all and perfunctory at times, but she is generous and very loyal.
She is always accompanied by one (or more) Grudgies - small magical beings, round and black, very soft, without legs or arms but with eyes and mouth (with many fangs, despite their tender appearance). Grudgies look a lot like the susuwatari from the film Totoro, but without the limbs, or .
Dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, and a lot of books.
Pose Reference: holding a big pile of ancient books and scrolls, please! I would prefer the face to remain hidden by the books, with just the hair and the little crown peeking out from above.
Key Details: the Grudgies! One on her head, maybe inside the crown? The others... as you wish!
