22 years is a long time! I had some true devotion to those pets and maybe some unhealthy attachment due to good childhood memories. It's okay, I'm good now! ;) I have never heard of Subeta until joining today. Unfortunately, after feeding my newly created pet the apple, the tutorial it stuck saying I didn't complete it. So, I'm adventuring on my own trying to figure out the site! Any tips would be appreciated! So grateful that there are other (and better!) places to spend my time escaping the real world! That being said, let me introduce myself!

I'm 36, mom to 3 children who'll be 15, 14, and 2 this year! Also 3 cats; Eera, Moo, and Chunk Norris! Best name ever right? Haha! Eera is from the SPCA and the other two were strays. Also a puppy named Shanti! (Pekingese/Chihuahua) Currently, I'm a stay at home mom. Long story behind that but my life didn't start until late 2017. I was employed as an ECEA tending to 25 children 5 and under prior to my youngest! Fun times! ;) I am very spiritual and have a bunch of education in the area. I'm a certified master/teacher in many different areas of Reiki, certified Coach, Aromatherapist, certified in Past Life Regression, Healing The Inner Child, EFT Tapping & Ho'oponopono, and Meditation practitioner/teacher to name a few. I also use the crystal singing bowls for sound healing! Currently in the process of obtaining more education within the spiritual and mental health categories. Oh, I'm located in northern BC Canada! Welcome! when i first started there would be over 1k people online. Over the years it has definitely dwindled.. but this is still a great site with lots of play options even if our social ones arent are prevalent as they used to be. The best best part about this site is the avatars! over time you'll get lots of goodies! right when i became inactive on this site they started introducing custom items from artists on the site and theyre super cool! don't know a bunch about them, but theyre perfect for customization. i really hope you have some fun here! it's like neopets, but a much more adult and relaxed version, with lots of holidays and events and super fun things if i remember correctly. I would love to see subeta more active again. :)

Ten years back when I joined subeta, I remember doing the tutorial and STILL almost quitting because I had no idea how to make sp until a friend told me to keep doing quests!

There's a quest widget you can put on your sidebar here: https://subeta.net/preferences.php?act=sidebar

And it directly links to the quests in subeta. For Carl, you'll need map access (the map pieces should be cheaper now) and Saggitarius requires a certain sp threshold, but don't worry too much about them right now, and focus on the other ones. Selling items you got from quests is also a nice way to get extra sp. You can get more items by restocking from subeta shops.

Kicek, I'll definitely post about the tutorial being stuck! I think it would still be nice to take the walk-through! Chunk Norris is a very demanding overweight kitty! Haha! He will literally grab your hand with both murder mittens, sink his claws in, and force the pets! I assume he was wondering the streets deprived of love an affection for far too long! At least 3 years that I'm aware of. :(

We all need a bit of an escape from the daily routines and stresses of life! It's a bit harder to socialize these days as well, so the forums are a plus! I'm not an overly chatty person, but I try to make an effort! lol I tend to stick to myself in real life. History behind that though!

Sid, dwindled is okay though! Usually it means there's a more closer bond between the users. Not as much drama, which is fantastic!! That being said, I definitely love the more grown up atmosphere here! And the bit of adultier items, like the whiskey Major Drills gave me! Ha! I'm loving the witchy spiritual aspects in this site though! All the different gemstones and spell making is pretty awesome! The artists and customizations are something I'll have to look into. I have no idea how to customize anything yet, but, I will learn these secret talents! lol I do know this site is anything but hard on the eyes! I'm quite enjoying seeing all the different avatars! Beautiful stuff!!

Neopets certainly changed over the years. So much worse than it was. My user name was chronic_69187, I was 13 when I started playing. I am at least happy to be rid of that username! I'm not that person anymore! Haha! Awe, Lulu and Weasel are great names!! Kitty purrs are magic! ;) I'd love a hairless cat! I'm allergic to animals, but, couldn't imagine a life without them!! 10 years is a good age! :) I think this Subeta would be right up my daughters alley with all the witchcraft type stuff! lol She's starting to practice wicca here in the real world. Crazy how fast they grow up!

I did find all the quests last night, but wasn't sure if I was going to need to save them to the bookmark thing over on the right side. Seemed like a cluttered mess! I did do Saggitarius, but haven't been in to Blue or Carl. I have received quite a few anonymous gifts here (THANK YOU!!!) and within them were 3 map pieces! I'm looking forward to getting it together! I should check out my store as well, figure out that part. Loving it here so far!!

I have three birds: Jorah (cockatiel), Navi (cockatiel), and Ghost (parakeet). I used to have four but Peep (parakeet) passed away two weeks ago and everyone is learning to adjust to his absence.

I spent a great time at Neo to be honest! I knew a lot od nice people and they still are my friends. Unfortunately it lost everything good that it had.. sad!

I'm sorry to hear you dealt with a lot of traumatic events, but the fact that you were able to fully let go and awaken from them is wonderful! I am still struggling with fully letting go and trusting, but I am getting there. Everything happens at the right time.

My awakening was in 2015 and was not due to any trauma. It was seemingly random. I believe it started after seeing a particular photograph online, which is odd. But for two years after that I lived every day in complete bliss. Everything just seemed to make sense. Years later, I realized I was using Law of Attraction without realizing it. I wish I could say I am still in that state of bliss, but life moves on and I continue to learn from my experiences.

To be open, my mom passed away in April 2017, she was just 50, and it was intentional. She was my best friend, and my only friend as I walked blindly unable to recognize the person in the mirror. I had been with my now ex husband for 18 years. It got violent and police came. I took my kids and we left with nothing and the intention of staying at a shelter. But, like you said, things happen at the right time! A friend, who is now my partner, offered to pay first months rent so I was able to get on assistance and get a place! This was 4 months after my mom passed. It was September that year I had my awakening.

From my perspective, we go through many awakenings along this journey! The first seems to be like what you described! I've noticed for most people, that's the first. My partner as well, completely random like yours! He was listening to a song his friend wrote. The photo that triggered your awakening could've been something from a past life. I assume it had no meaning to you in this life as you mentioned seemingly random! I think experiences like that are phenomenal, when they just happen! Like Source saying it's your turn!

Lessons are blessings in disguise! ;) My opinion on this is a bit different than most. All I keep hearing is to be love, be light, no negative feelings or thoughts, etc. We are not this body. While I fully agree we are not these bodies, I know that currently, we are experiencing this dream as such. There's a certain balance here...in the world, but not of it. ;) This is a world of duality and perception. I literally had to train my mind to think a different way. (especially to fight the PTSD, heal the toxic traits I'd unknowingly taken on from my husband and what not)

Letting go can be quite difficult, especially if you've been given a choice rather than having it taken. Know what I mean? Keep in mind though, this experience is a short one! As well, don't fall victim to the conditionings of other spiritual leaders. You will know what works and what doesn't for you and your higher Self! Have you tried affirmations or sleep hypnosis? Michael Sealey is a good one. Music is my way to stay in the higher vibes and get my fix of affirmation and just a boost. Trevor Hall has to be one of my favorites!

It's hard for me to pick a favorite deck as I have ended up getting a bunch of decks. I also do Oracle Decks.

My first tarot deck was Legacy of the Divine Tarot by Ciro Marchetti so I'm biased towards that. It's an easy deck to read and the artwork is amazing.

I also like decks like The Celtic Dragon Tarot by D.J.Conway & Lisa Hunt that play with the tarot deck format. The Celtic Dragon in particular changes the meanings of two of the suits around. So I wouldn't suggest it until you get more comfortable with tarot.

I have read some of your responses and all I can say is that I believe you have found a place for support and encouragement, and definitely a respite from reailty when needed.
