you guys!! I'm literally typing through watery eyes. I just thought to open my Lumi tree. I didn't find time to come around Subeta much at all last month but even in my absence so many people thought of me and added gifts under my tree... I don't know why you guys still care, but I LOVE YOU all so much. I'm sorry I don't find more time to play these days. I'm going to return the love, somehow! I'll try to be around more, too. Even if just an hour a day. /hugs!!

yes I'm an avid reader and mainly read fiction. At the moment though I'm reading Letter to My Younger Self which is a non fiction. It's famous people writing about what advice they would give to their 16 year old selves. My next book will be Still Life by Sarah Winman which is supposed to be outstanding. (I don't know anything about it).

What type of library do you work in? (I mean public, private or school?). If you work in a public library, is it linked to other branches? Do you get to select what books go into the library? I'm not sure if you mainly have American novels, but if you choose from international material, I can highly recommend The Dry by Jane Harper. It's a very well written mystery written about a fictional town in outback Victoria, Australia. (the author is actually English) If people are interested in a fun crime novel, I can recommend The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman. Very light, very nice read......I also very much enjoy reading literature.

I read my books on the Kindle app on my iphone. This allows me to read anywhere, anytime. I am a member of 2 area libraries though! :) :)

Maybe we could have a dedicated forum for book lovers if enough people are interested???....recommendations and non recommendations. I cannot recommend Middlemarch by George Eliot. Brilliantly written, but a bit of a slog and for me, better classics out there.

Thank you for the gift and happy anniversary messages :) Towards the end of 2021 just got too much in the end. Constant work, a very sick bunny and myself then catching covid, I had no free time. We unfortunately had to say goodbye to our little bunny and I'm just getting over covid now. I hope 2022 is better for all !

- I work in a small public library. My boss does the ordering, but he's open to suggestions from staff. I do the processing, so every item passes through my hands before it hits the shelf. I am good and let the public have a chance first, though ;) We try to have as diverse a collection as possible, so books from around the world are a plus! I haven't read it yet, but a friend read The Dry and highly praised the atmosphere. When I get a chance, I'll put up a "What Are You Reading?" topic in the games section so it can be an ongoing chat :)

the booster shot does that. The 1st two shots went well, except for a little Moderna arm with the first. The booster, the nurse just jabbed it into my arm, so I was very sore for about a week.
