Your welcome! HUGS hands you a huge mug of Coco with marshmallows, and a warm blankie for Lacey I bet one of my Egyptian blankets, she would fall in love with like my old dog Ringo. Chow chow fur and all he would burrow under the blankets. Burr your out walking Lacey? I hope you have a huge pot of hot soup on the stove.

Going Fishing!!! 🐟
Lacey is spoiled. She has a sweater that is knitted(white brown and red all a one piece)And she has shoes to keep her feet warm too. Right now we are sharing frozen blueberries. Our favorite snack at bedtime. I've done a lot of that this year.I hope there is smaller amounts now toward end of Feb.
So how do you get her to keep the boots/shoes on? Ronnie enjoys his jacket though.
They are felcro and about 5-6 inches long. She was wearing them in the house already as a pup so she is used to them.Every once in a while one of them might just blow off LOL We're sharing some dates now.
I wish I would have got Ronnie as a pup so he could have got used to the booties.
Let's hope it gets warm enough for some soon
Going Fishing!!! 🐟
Let her wear them in the house like i did.It works. :) I'd Like to be down at the river now.I'm very much alone so walking in the river and splashing around is fun for both of us.A good way to cool off.I'm hunting for rocks, fossils.
Oh he had a total fit when we tried them on before, we only wanted him to wear in the house until it was a new normal for him. But he wouldn't have anything to do with them. He didn't like them, and acted like he was in trouble. He was abused by previous owner, so he triggers real easy on changes. So we just let it go. We just are more careful on watching temperatures especially winter and summer, because the affect it has on sidewalks and pavements.
That's the other reason we wear the boots.Lots of people use salt on the sidewalks to melt snow and ice as well on the roads. So the boots protect her feet from that.Almost time for new ones.
Lucky for me, we dont get snow often. I have never seen any place salted except in public places like hospitals, shopping centers and so. I walk Ronnie through residential area around my home.
Everyone that had a pet was walking outside during this last week.Everyone is kind of sick of being indoors so long.We need that vitamin "D" from the sun.
I remember getting cabin fever growing up in Montana, we were all stir crazy.
Our temps at -50C were too cold to go out.Nice to have a little fresh air.
Geez your breath would freeze just opening the door.
Weird yr for harsh weather this yr. We had a good amount of snow too.I won't be shovelling snow for the seniors next yr.It's getting to be too much for me.
Hopefully a few teenagers will take over the shoveling, keep them busy and doing a nice public service.
