Happy New Year Dear Bears :)

I like what you said about what we learn about ourselves each year and I also love your resolution. I don't have a resolution because of all the broken resolutions :P but I will make an effort to use what I learned in 2022 to try and make 2023 better.

I think of all you bears though I don't post often. I wish you all the best in 2023!

Thank you, I'm sorry for the losses you have suffered as well. Your right about how important family is. Lena was number 6 child and I am number 10 child. She married when I was 10 and moved clear across the USA. After our mother passed and her husband passed then she spent more time in Ca. With me and our other siblings, I don't know her daughters well. But I am so thankful for the 10 years we had together. I miss her a lot, I have another sister who has Alzheimer's and is in a home. She is 17 years older than me, I visited her today. I miss her too...... Sometimes she doesn't recognize me, but sometimes she does. Still I'm so glad that I can go and see her.

i never make resolutions at all. Tjis year i am commiting to setting a schedule for each room . there was a site LONG ago..hmm i will look if she is still online called the FlyLady. she has awesom folloe ups n=d scheduling..how to do some things..imma go look RIght now:) thanks for your post bacause it made me remember her.

Oh bananas RAIN is a coming here to California...midwest is getting pounded now with LAurel in the eye of a storm..SO much lightening there just now. There is this show we like to see about Hometown (a home reno show from Laurel) n they are in Laurel so it iseems very familiar to us. I hope all who live there heeds the weather channel warning and got into their safeplace

my oldest sister was 17.5 when I was born. I can relate! But there were just the 4 of us. Years back when I was in the USofA I visited my aunt (my mother’s aunt) who had Alzheimer’s. She didn’t remember me, but she enjoyed the visits. hugs.

I love squirrels! 🐿️ We had black ones in Kent State where I went to college. Her we have sick looking scavenger fox. Don’t like those guys. They have eaten kittens from the yard. Grrrr.

Prayers for everyone’s safety wherever they are and whatever the conditions they are facing.

My squirrels seem sassy and mischievous, they just love annoying Ronnie. Its like they get in the highest point of the trees in my yard and neighbors to wave at Ronnie. His never before really jumped at our stone walls, now his determined to nip one of the squirrels. But they think its worth it, never ending supply of pecan for them. I like to see how they run so swiftly and jump from tree branch to tree branch so effortlessly.

How have you been doing..did you get time off during the holidays or were you on DISHES patrol the whole time? We had a wonderful time through all our holidays here and look forward to a great 2023. May as well be optimistic right? I think about you and Frieda getting together and your picture that was posted..you three looked so happy. You made alot of good memories then i bet!!

the crocks wont work but i think you coul be elegant in a shirt n jeans, Yor stance/attitude has alot to fo=do with it but aaha the crocks atr out :) . I get so cozy in my slippers after my walk with Benny i put them on and leave tham on :) Once i even walked him With my muc-luc bottie slippers on..we have alot of walkers and dog walkers. So i went early to avoid many :)

I say the clothes you feel luscious wearing... pull them out n put them ON!! It is like breaking out the good dishes and starting to use them more often just because i love them so much!fThen any day..you can make an ordinary day feel special!

lol ,I didn't understand half of what you said. But am faring well. Hope you are too! My oldest granddaughter is getting married this Saturday. This is a good thing, I really like her future hubby. Memories are the best, and hopefully we should be continuing to make great ones. I haven't been much of a celebrator lately.... But I hope to get better at celebrating. ❤ and hugs

Thank you, I can understand perfectly now LOL. I haven't been celebrating much because of some health issues in my family. Just been busy with the doc a lot with a son. He is doing better, and hopefully will continue. I am celebrating my granddaughters wedding though, it's gonna be great!
