Usually I can sneak away more at work but having to do multiple jobs is annoying lol! And its getting cold down here and we arent used to the cold so EVERYONES coming shop to make warm foods.....we literally cant even get crackers in our store lol. Its that bananas!

I dont mind to much as long as my son doesn't try to get into the presents again x.x the playset is like 5 years old so we just wanna do some repairs to it before my son plays on it again its been moved twice to different houses

omg I know how that goes. Hurricane season drives people like that LOL!!! Its like 45 degrees here and everyone freaking out -_- lmao!!! we live in a trailer with no central heat or air, so we have space heaters and it takes foreverrrr to warm up!!!!! So when we get home we are gonna be so cold bc we obviously dont leave them on when not there ;0; Well I know a lot of the front end like office work and cashiering, everyone been calling out so I have to help with that when they are shorthanded and do my pricing job as well :c

we have window units and it cools down in there super fast!! Its worst in the winter and it takes forever to heat up xD And yes literally its one person right after another girl!!!! No one is safe right now lol

Window units are the bomb tbh. When we stay at my grandmas we sleep in my aunt’s room and it’s always ice cold from her window unit. I love it XD Gosh I know right? Covid is going around where Rusty works. I just pray we don’t get it. I’m just worried about Jesse and Harper getting sick. I think me and Rusty would be perfectly fine.

waves Hope everyone is doing well :D Just doing life haha :) but things are good. Just been freeze drying meals and such in my neck of the woods (since freeze dried food/meals can last up to 20+ years if using mylar bags/oxygen absorbers). The world's just too crazy to NOT prepare :P My hope is in a few months I can have a 6+ month supply of food for the family (just in case) :D Hope things stay steady till then :)

I used to be a winter person when I was younger but now I hate it. I hate being so cold and I hate how the skies are always so gloomy! ;0;

I have a freeze dryer (a harvest right) XD its a serious investment LOL but it removes all moisture from food and when you put in mylar bags etc you extend its shelf life by like a long time lol :) Currently I have some chicken dorito casserole (minus the doritos) in the freeze dryer that we can add cheese/rice/sour cream to later to make a yummy meal :) and I'm trying out chicken patties and chicken nuggets as someone in a group I'm in has done those so I'm quite interested if those will work :) Greasy foods don't last as long (like 5ish years vs 20+ years but I'm okay with that LOL :) You know how folks can buy like freeze dried milk? or like those Augason Farms whatever food? You normally see them in like round metal tins? Those are freeze dried food for long term storage :) So in case of an emergency or a break in the supply chain...you'll have food to feed your family :)

I think its a relatively new thing (like last 5-10 years or so). In the past freeze dryers were only available for "businesses" lol so regular people like us couldn't until harvest right came along :) And costs depend on the size :) I have a medium and premier pump (basically means i only have to change the oil every 20-25 batches where original pump is like changing oil every single time you use it) but mine was in the 3400ish range....though lately they've had sales and you can get a medium for under 2700 :) And its not too difficult :) Chocolate doesn't freeze dry. Oils don't freeze dry (so like peanut butter is a no or butter) and fatty things will freeze dry but the shelf life is shorter...:) But fruit, veggies, meals, pastas, meat, etc all freeze dry great :D breakfast stuff etc :)

It's been some weird days lately. Practically everyone at work has Covid right now, so we're running really fast. I work with kids age 0-6. I've been exposed multiple times this week, but according to the home tests I've taken while waiting to book a PCR test, I'm still negative. Right now I'm just enjoying some quality time with my cat :) How are you?
