Hi guys! I hope you don’t mind me gatecrashing ^^ I haven’t played Subeta in a long time, so I’m really out of touch. I used to RS a lot on Neopets, so I know how things worked there. On Subeta, is there a way to tell which items to snag - like do they come up at certain prices (5000 / 10000sp etc), or is it just a case of trial and error? Also, which are the best shops for RS newbies?

Sorry for all the questions! If there’s a useful site/guide to find all these answers, please tell me and I’ll go away :P

i'm a rsing newbie too so not the best person to answer, but from what i've figured out:

• subetalodge is great for finding what items in a shop go for a lot - you just search on SL with the restock location set to anywhere you want, set the rarity filter to 0-99, and sort by "user price (high to low)"
• the only shop that has super high profit items is the Apocalyptic Apothecary - here's the subetalodge list for the apothecary, with the filters set
• every other store is smaller profit (under 1mil except for maybe 1-2 items, mostly under 200k tbh)
• things sell out very slowly so you absolutely can just search up the names in shop search to see which ones are profitable (maybe except for the apothecary? i've never got or even seen any of the high-priced items)
• idk if there's any easy way to tell which ones are rare just from the price?
• this is just a guess but i think besides the apothecary, the best places to restock would be the collection shops (beanbags/plushies/etc)? items from other stores might be slower to sell

I went to the item directory and added everything new to my WL xD I want at least one of everything - and multiple of books in particular.

Earlier today Carl gave me 1 of the items from last year that I missed, so that was a pleasant surprise!

Nice!! I'm always curious early on to see how the prices will settle on the rare items. I know the common ones end up cheap, normal depends on item type, and rare is mostly just 'how expensive is it going to be'

... I keep forgetting to check restocks and my intuition reminds me about 30 seconds too late, oops
