Same. I do wonder if simply searching a space is using a wildcard.

Did we get an answer to this? I only experience this since 3 days. It's very demanding because you have to safe the avatar, then come back for a new search, apply another item and so on. I am using latest Safari and MacOs.

Yes there's a workaround. Just type in a space or single letter and it will show you all items again. Its a bit of a pain, but at least it works.

The search needs a minimum of 3 letters to run, if it doesn't get them, it defaults back to showing all.

I wanted to voice that I have this issue, too. I'm happy to hear there's a workaround which I'll be using now. Thanks to those who shared that tidbit!

Thank you so much for bringing attention to this! It's been a little annoying having to save my outfit and reload the wardrobe each time I wanted to search for an item. I've been experiencing this for months.

I did try typing in just one letter, but I've noticed it removes any items that do not contain that letter. However, the space bar option works for me!! :) (I am using Chrome on a Lenovo laptop)

I'm experiencing this bug too--but I think entering just a space doesn't pull up all my items? I feel like there's stuff missing when I do that.

You should be able to confirm if its pulling up everything. Go into your wardrobe, don't change any options, just click the item tab. Check the number of pages displaying (if you want to be exact go to the last page and count the items). There are 100 items on each complete page.

Enter any search. Then remove the search using the space option. Check pages again (counting the last page if you like) to confirm if all items are showing or not.

So I noticed something seemed a bit off to me and I know there hasn't been any mod comment on this yet, however this bug exists in the achievement search as well. Which leads me to believe there is an issue with how the search itself functions rather than individual areas. I'm not sure if the search is a packaged or self created but there is likely a case missing to take care of when items from the search are changed.

Currently the functioning of it leads me to believe that a new input is required before a new request is sent to the system. I'd say this is confirmed by the fact that when you erase the achievement search and it will continue to spin waiting for a new input.

I feel like the only reason the work around (spacebar after clearing) works might be because of an escape clause that might default to the original clothing/achievements within that category. I think this because it will spin or be blank for a moment and eventually show the results(or results that look like they were from prior) prior to search when only a spacebar is used.

The thing that might also need to be looked into is weither or not the items showing up after the search is reset have spaces or not because I suspect it might only show items with spaces which would mean the work around doesn't actually work.

It's only been a known issue since November, and not even in the top 10 of issues on the site. I will be amazed if it is resolved within 2 years (SOON!)

Yikes! I've been having this problem as well, since I started using the site a month and a half ago. I guess I'll experiment with using spaces and single letters going forward.

I also wondered about the search showing only items with spaces. But this has been tested (in the wardrobe anyway) and its confirmed that using the space character will show all items.

Speculating here, but we strongly suspect that the search requires at least 3 characters, so when you type in a space or any single character, or even 2 characters, the search defaults back to ALL.

Little workaround update. Last night I noticed searching a single letter now only returns things with that single letter in the name (items + outfits), and doing a space (still) returns all items (and outfits)! [sub]so just use space[/sub]

Thank you for telling me about the workaround. I've been saving my outfit, exiting the wardrobe and coming back to it to find new items which is a HUGE pain.

I'm eager to see this get fixed.
