Ooh I second this! I don't know much about RSing, it's too boring for my goldfish brain, but this seems like a good solution. n.n

Shops used to clear every hour, I'd like to see them clear more as well as I think it would help a lot. Even if they just got cleared quick now since there was a change made just so we could see what kind of difference the change is actually having on restocking.

I'm so stoked for this. Restocking is some of the most fun I have on the site and I'd love to be able to get that up and going again!

EDIT: Just to add another idea on board, I wonder if there might be a way to set a lower cap on how many of a certain item can restock. Even for the super common items, it seems like it's counter-productive to restockers if there are 12 of any item, really!

Thanks for the info! I used to spend a fair bit of time restocking but have slowed down quite a bit! I am really looking forward to seeing how these changes affect things! It’ll be a good snowball effect I think!

I think it will take a few days before we see any real changes. Retro Galaxy items are already stacking up in the Atebus Shop.

So odd that I was thinking about all of this only yesterday. When there were more people on the site it was harder to buy Rare items - now it's so easy to go through a shop and be able to buy quite a few of them. And the value has gone down on so many items... Of course, for fragging it's great to be able to buy a ton of Rares.

I don't see much difference than before other that some shops restock less items, are sort of "cut off" esp. at the end. But again the very same items sit there throughout every "restock".

For example of all the "Glow-in-the-Dark Temporary Star Tattoo"s only the white is there and stays put. Most probably also less of the "special" items popping up.

What I've noticed - when it comes to items worth restocking there's less than before. Some quests are getting more expensive.

Maybe I've been unlucky but, for me, restocking seems worse that it was before the change. The shops are stocking far fewer items now but 99% of them are the same worthless junk.

I did a little yesterday as mentioned above. I can only second your thoughts.

Agreed with -- I've been a little swamped so I didn't do as much as I'd like. It's certainly better, but I am starting to think an hourly to three-hour clear would be best.

When it comes down to it, having fewer items just stocked at any one time means that it's more likely to be out of stock when someone's questing (aka will be bought from a user shop/restocker instead).

This is fine as long as the items get replaced in user shops. If they aren't replaced they become increasingly expensive so players quit more and more quests because they'll lose sP.

CALLING ALL RESTOCKERS

I'm in England so have no idea what turns up in the main shops in the middle of the UK night. It would be interesting to hear from people who restock after 4pm Subeta time.

I’ve been doing a few randomly here and there just to have a daily reference. Unfortunately I had to go away last minute this weekend (my Dad’s in the hospital but on the mend). When I got home tonight I spent a little more time restocking and I have to agree with what’s been noted already.

I’m 1 hour behind Subeta time and I usually am restocking throughout the evening. I’ve been sticking to a few main shops I usually use. Tonight I noticed a few more of the rarer items showing up… stuff I would normally RS for my shop that I didn’t see over the previous days. I’m hoping to spend the same time over the next couple of days to compare what I see popping up. I’ll keep you posted.

Of the shops I go to, only Apocalyptic Apothecary has (just like before) intervalls beyond 10 minutes. Now, even though it - since the change years ago - has a vast array of items, restocks only 8 items, 4 of which are the mundane rarity Dark Potions.

The Toy Shop and Thimble & Co don't have many different items any more and what is in there tends to be worthless junk.
