I will say that I think(?) the CSC challengers only show up in BQs if you've unlocked them; so if you buy the Cake slice I'd stick it in the vault for later rather than unlocking him right away; Biting Cake is not fun :P

Nope, you can get challenges in BQ you haven't unlocked. Same way you can fight previous event challenges that aren't active. Unless they changed it recently.

I believe Cara is right, the BQ opponents are just a pool of opponents, it's the same pool for everyone. It's kind of a fun way to see if you can beat certain challengers you haven't yet unlocked if you don't have them. I kinda wish the pool was bigger, or changed more often though.

My lineup for possessed mage includes OHS for steal protection and natasha to generate steal fodder when my blessing doesn't activate. My scrolls are all freezers to chain freeze

But what tier should a pet be to successfully win against Mama Mush 75 times? :)

The more wins you have on an opponent, the more your weapon set and exact build are going to affect how well you can do against them. You might be able to get that high with a tier 8 pet using something like and , but it might be a struggle? By tier 10 with either or it should be trivial. and will also be your friends.

I'll give it a shot with my t8 and report back!

Oh, woof, the clawed gloves are pretty terrible in tier 8. The extra healing from may actually be better. 😬

woo, so that was with a t8 (~1250 evens) using the following set: (i know she's no-freeze, but i think the boost from the specs helped)

What are opinions on minimum health for a capped / final build pet?

- HP is the most important stat IMO, I think you'd want a bare minimum of 8k HP on a capped, higher is probably better. the other stats have logarithmic growth, so having say, 200 more points in strength at higher levels doesn't equate to much extra damage output, but the HP is 1 to 1. 200 more HP is 200 more HP, which is 200 more damage you can take, and 20 more health healed by a 10% healing scroll/weapon. I'd say for a first build, 10k HP at least would be a good goal, and if you want to experiment with other types of builds later, then go for it. I'm working on building a pet with high strength and spd, and minimal HP and Def, but already I can tell that she is struggling to beat the higher impossible opponents, and idt she'll be very helpful for gaining tomes etc. from getting 25 wins.

The healing cap sets in at 10k (even if you have more HP than that, most weapons with a % heal still only heal as if you had 10k), so I'd say 10k is the bare minimum if you're capped. Below that, you're just leaving healing on the table.
