Several CW sellers have encountered problems with CW sales going through, but profits not being added to our accounts. I have 900 CSC of profit missing from my account from sales yesterday.
I have filed a ticket, but it has not yet been assigned coming up on almost 24 hours, hence why I am posting in the forums about it. This seems like a major problem that needs to be addressed.
I’m having the same issue as well. I filed a ticket on October 8th in the evening. It was assigned but I haven’t heard back any updates on it since that evening.
I’m currently missing 600 csc profit. I have locked all items in my shop until the issue is resolved D:
I found out today, too, when I bought an item from my own shop. I was wondering in the last days why my CSC amount wasn't upped, too!
Edit: I filed a ticket, too.

Yikes. Maybe the CW shops should be closed until this is resolved so Staff don't have to back track so much. People deserve to be compensated properly.

Ooof, this is really annoying, I'm sorry everyone. Something is going on where the process dies in the middle after the CSC has been taken from the user, and the item given but before the CSC is given to the creator (or event'd)
I'm just pushing up a quick fix now that requires the entire purchase to happen as a 'block' which will block the whole request if it doesn't make it through to the end.
After that fix goes up (which should hopefully stop the problem from happening) I'm going to investigate the 5,000 backed up events we have that could be the cause of this.

Oh yikes - I haven't been receiving notices that items have even sold so I didn't realize I was missing out on profits. I couldn't even begin to tell you what's missing at this point =/
Will y'all be able to figure out who was missing what without us tracking it?
[edit] I am seeing the backlog of CW shop events coming through and my csc just increased (it was 12xx and now it's 15xx) so it looks like things are starting to correct.
I did just buy a CW out of a user CW shop and commented them to let them know so they can notify y'all if the event and/or CSC profit didn't come through.
Hopefully it's all sorted though. Thank you guys for working on this so quickly!
hopefully! We've got all of the events that just sent out, which include the CSC amount, so in the worst case we can run through those and retroactively send out the CSC. Not great, but a solution!
I'm waiting for the rest of the messages to go out to start to piece together what we need to do.
Again: I'm really sorry about this one, it's so frustrating when a system like this doesn't work, especially one tied to real dollars. The technical explanation on how this work is, a long time ago, everything you did on Subeta happened immediately. For example, if you purchased an item from a user shop it would:
All of those things take time, and as the database gets bigger and bigger they take more and more time. So, we restructured the site to do all of those things individually through a queue. When the page loads, the most important things (sP taken from the user) happen, and everything else gets put into a queue that is constantly running and usually is basically instantaneous.
If something happens to break the connection of the queue to the database, or to Subeta, then things can still be added to it but it won't keep "working" them on until whatever is causing the problem is fixed, in which case it'll then run through ALL of the queued events (events, purchases, achievement and cosmetic unlocks, etc), which is great because it means nothing gets lost to time, just fixing those connections is a pain.

If it helps to know - my missing CSC does appear to have been added as the events fixed themselves. On top of that, new purchases absolutely have been adding CSC correctly. And the user who's shop I purchased from confirmed they received the CSC from the purchase as well. I hope the root of the issue can be solved, but y'all seem to have gotten a fix running for the backlog that is doing what it should've been doing so that is great news in my book!
- Thank you for working on this. It looks like some people like have received their missing CSC, but others such as myself and still have not. Is this something that should have come through already or still a work-in-progress?
