thank you. I wanted to play with the tail and horns lol XD Looks like Niamh is ready for a snowball war :P haha
she's a good little puppy--most of the time. how are things there?
Wish I could play with her. :)
Not much new to report here. Was nice getting back into gaming again this weekend. I am going to be sad almost when I am done with this game, even tho I also have started skyward sword. xD Have you tried your new game yet?

it's one reason why I stopped using plastic needles! I think the main problem was that it was my Gran's old needles so they were probably a bit more brittle anyway, but I found that bamboo needles were a lot more comfortable to use (as long as there's no rough bits on them) ;) I think all my crochet hooks are the narrow ones, but for crocheting a big project I think the thicker handles would definitely be better :D
And I've also got a request from Mum to add into my list of things to make :P Gran & Grandad have someone from their housing place do cleaning in their flat once a fortnight. But the cleaner leaves the used cleaning cloths in their main washing bag when they've finished with them (and Mum's worried that any cleaning products would then get onto the clothing). So I've started making a bag just for the used cleaning cloths that are needing washing - I wrote on it with the fabric markers Raven got me a couple of years ago, so the cleaner shouldn't get in a muddle with where to leave the cloths next time ;)
it works brilliantly :D hehe she couldn't resist, although I think she's probably aiming those snowballs at the window seeing as nobody is outside with her :P

I'm sure she would love it. She's so happy with any attention lmao.
Glad you got to play today :) Yeah it's cute I think. the lamp guy is a little annoying though lol.
thanks :) haha unless there's a rude neighbour inside?
Bless. :) No idea who the lamp guy is, but I guess I will understand once I get around to playing it myself.
Bamboo needles is something I never use really. The one time I bought cubic ones (suppose to give better results for some people?) but they broke while knitting. :P
I prefer these hooks: addi swing
That sounds like a good idea. :)

I think if there was, then she'd just use a couple of spells to fling the snowballs so they don't appear to come from her 😇
That's not much help if they break!! I've not come across ones like that before, but that looks like it's much more comfortable than the standard straight crochet hooks
I got the bag finished:

I'm hoping that the writing makes it clear enough for the cleaner to realise that's where to put the cloths!!

lol he has a lamp on his nosering o.0
hehe tis a good idea XD
Because that does not sound neither random or weird. o-o Did not fall asleep until 5-6 in the morning. Guess who is tired. o-o Had a nice lunch with my dad and bought catfood.
These are expensive but worth it to me since unless I lose them, I am likely to have them for the rest of my life. And no sore fingers from those thin hooks.
The bag looks great and very clear to me at least what they are meant for. ;)

as long as she doesn't get into trouble for underage wizardry :P
ooo that's a stunning HA today! :D
that's a good point - they should last a lot longer than the bamboo ones (I have a feeling they might get rougher after a lot of use). Thanks :d

haaha it is weird XD ooh nice. Hope you enjoyed the catfood :P
interesting spelling of Raven there ;) haha well if she's near others they won't know :P why thank you. Yours is cute today :) Whats' the kitty or doggy?
clearly my keyboard is a little less responsive than I'd thought! I think I might have a few crumbs lurking under the keys :P
That's true - she might have to just wait for some others to arrive ;)
Thanks :d It's a cat.... erm looks for the item name :) And your HA is looking great - I love all those blues :D

Dork. lol Bought fish catfood this time, think I will pass and maybe wait until I get some meat cat food. :P
If the bamboo ones are good quality they should last a good while as well. :D If knitting needles breaks brands are often good about replacing them for free too if you take them to the store.

most of mine are probably lower quality ones (a lot came free with magazines) :P but it hadn't even dawned on me to take needles back to the store if they break!

Some knitting needles can be quite expensive, so it can be good to keep in mind. :)

I think that's what put me off buying the more fancy ones laughs :) Also some of the more shaped handles for crochet hooks are the kind of thing you'd probably want to try out in a shop rather than just assuming it'd work for the way you crochet - then it gets harder to actually make a decision! :P

hehe or it's hiding some biscuits for when you're hungry ;) it's really cute :D hehe well I had to use my new boots :) stellar new ha today :D
well you did said you had lunch and bought cat food :P
@ Raven I guess I walked right into that one. xD Any plans this weekend? I need to do the usual chores and I guess I will be gaming.
@ Paddy :nods: It is always good to be able to try it for a bit until you buy. :) Only thing I don't have is those super small hooks you would use for doilies etc. :P

or maybe the keyboard itself was hungry and just wanted more crumbs? :P The weird thing is, I don't eat anything at the computer.... so where are all these crumbs coming from o.O
I saw you'd done a new release - sold many so far?
Thanks :d I couldn't resist trying out that new skin thing :D
I think I have (or had) a really thin crochet hook at one point, but it was one that was way smaller than I'd ever need to use! My standard smallest would be a 3mm - anything smaller than that, and I think it'd be too tiny to manage!
