well, I didn't really expect a reply, but it just seemed the most idiotic level of response :P

Coming a close second was when I asked a store on social media if I can return a top Grandad was given, and exchange it for something that's more suitable. I said at the start that I don't know when it was bought (and we don't want to ask the person who bought it for him, as he's embarrassed to let them know it wasn't suitable) and they said yes that's fine. Mum took it into the shop and they said because it's over 35 days since the purchase, you can't exchange it. I asked again online, and they "sorry for the confusion" and confirmed it can't be returned past that time. But given that I'd clearly said at the start that I don't know when it was bought (and I still don't understand how can the store know when it was purchased, especially as it might not have been bought in our local store anyway), they'd still said it was fine as long as it hadn't been worn o.O I did send a message back asking if they could honour what I was told originally, seeing as Mum had made a special trip to town just to try and exchange it.... and of course I had no reply :K :P

And Niamh says "thanks" - she found the hair in the wardrobe and wanted an orangey outfit to go with it ;)

Fingers crossed. Still not decided yet, but she can stay where she is now for a bit longer. Her health is declining very fast, so she will need care. Visited her today, she seemed to be in an okay mood at least.
