I printed off the map, which he still hasn't looked at :K he does have a smartphone, but it's an old (very old) windows one, so there aren't any apps that work on it now :P

well at least the map is ready so maybe a bit of a push when it gets time to go. I mean they need to go get the travel cage anyway

to be honest, I can see Dad saying we might as well wait for the garden centre to get more budgies in (although I've pointed out to Mum that I don't want to wait that long, on the off chance they get more before the spring)

Mum still says she's not sure about the distance to bring a budgie home from there, but yeah it all relies on dad being willing to drive there in the first place! Certainly nothing can be done before Monday (that's Gran's follow-up appointment at the hospital), and I think Mum's wanting to wait to see what those results are before making a decision on when we're getting another budgie.

nods it took quite a while for them to actually realise what was happening as well, which made things worse on the numbers, as originally I think they were just saying they expected the numbers to go up when the kids all went back to school in September :K

The hardest thing with the numbers they release, is that they're from two weeks ago - so you can't plan anything knowing that the current numbers are low or high, as nobody knows what the current numbers actually are for their area!

I think it's got a lot to do with the width of my screen (I changed to a higher resolution display this year as well) - that right-hand side is a heck of a long way over :P 😊
