I'm much faster grinding wins on my phone than the computer. Something you might try next time you need to farm tomes/scroll pieces!

Also weapon sets and preselection make everything a lot faster! (... Which I only discovered much later myself 😅)

You should! They can make a huge difference. If nothing else, put half and half on each of your weapons - you can buy them in the battle shop so they're very cheap and easy. Crit crystals give you a chance to double your damage, and the BONA crystals have a chance to give you a blessing that prevents freezing and stealing! that combination is basically universally useful.

I prefer parched+BONA, but parched is only good against opponents who freeze. Parched baguettes can also be bought in battle shop, but are more expensive (take very hard tokens). I think crit + BONA is probably a good place to start and works with more challengers.
