I've actually been eyeing this thread for a while haha I love looking at what other people have done with their pets, I'm just too much of a hermit to actively post Unfortunately I have whole 0 pets to submit cause none of them are finished. I prefer to write the stories myself but english is my second language so writing is hard and it goes very slowly orz. Maybe one day. But I appreciate you noticing my work ;v;

Hey everyone! I have been thinking lately since now the project has been up for nearly a month (damn time flies huh)! I have really been enjoying all of your pets. Many of you have sent me some love and genuine interest in how important stuff like this is and, that, I adore. Thank you for all of your input and cool discussions that I had concerning the Subeta Spotlight, artist visibility and all of the wonderful topics many of you have touched in your profiles. I know, I know this sounds like good bye which it is not!

I will be going on a small hiatus with this project. Not only am I struggling with finding new submissions, but I barely have enough showcases for the next two weeks. This does mean that I will be posting them and sending them the love they deserve, but I do have to make some changes to the overall infrastructure of the process. Sending out invites to people is quite exhausting I have to say. Posting on the forums itself is messy since everyday I had to hope for anyone to post, so I could share the next winner. It is quite embarassing to ask friends to push the thread just so I could start fretting for yet another day! That all sounds way too dramatic, lol, but bear with me! This is just about me having issues with the Fourm itself. Me not responding to all your cool comments and encouragements was torture, honestly. I was, in fact, bursting with positive comments to share on every pet.

I will keep posting profiles while I still have any. So here is your call for submissions. Submit any of your pets that you think is deserving of love! The main issue I sensed was that most of you don't consider your pets to be done, That's a fair point and I will be thinking about including pets that are considered WIP. Perfectionism is a curse, I feel you all so much. Maybe any of you have an idea on how to turn this into a cool concept!

Aside from that, I am always keeping an eye on the Forums and the SB for users with intriguing profiles. That means that instead of writing these cute little messages bribing everyone to come here, I will just straight-up ask people if I can share their work. So don't you worry about submitting anything if that process was too much for you. I know that with the current trends of the site it can be a bit tough to find new people working with the quite dusty pet system but I believe that all of the pets I showcased here beg to differ.

So I hope that y'all are still on board! I have some pretty neat additions planned for the Alleyway itself, but I have to focus on some things first, so I know that any effort will not be for nothing. Stay safe everybody and happy spooky season! <3

When I have more time (a lot of work lately) I will add some more of my finished ones but atm I am a busy man with art, work and helping out my parents.

if you do decide to go through with a lil WIP sideshow i definitely have a lot of those i could dump on you lol maybe show WIPs how you usually do but instead of a description people can plot out what that have in mind for the pet's future? design, profile, tc, story-wise. a mini limelight. a limelamp. idk

i can imagine that you're tired as you've worked so hard on this project. you know how much I love this project and it's understandable that it will grow, evolve and change.

take as long as you need for the hiatus and know I'll be back cheering you and the submissions on when it returns!

Ahhh you all, this is very wonderful to read. The support from all of you has been very reassuring and gave me lots of motivation to keep on improving the project! The Limelamp idea made me even squeak a little because I do love the idea and I will definitely make it a thing! That's so cute. At some point I was even thinking about collaborative efforts on pets! There are some really really cool pets with drawings from different people, etc. and I do love it when people just throw their skills together to make something fun and unique! Who knows, many ideas, much to do, stay tuned, everybody!
