I don't like when you have to 'prove yourself' to the owner of the CWs. I understand a password lock if its meant for forum group members or specific people but I don't think its cool to just do it to be picky about who has your item. I don't like it when people set the super high CW prices either. There's some CWs I love that are set at 10,000 CWs. That's just insane!

I remember back when CWs first became a thing. There were a couple of players that I guess must have really hated each other and somehow one of them managed to get one of the other person's CWs and they just threw a fit because someone they hated owned their CW. It was insane. I don't get it at all. Yeah those prices are insane! I guess some people do that because they want to trade, but how am I supposed to know what to offer if you don't come out and tell me what you want! I get tired of trying to jump through hoops for some people.

Exactly! That's why I'm so glad I found this group. I don't know that I would still be on Subeta if it wasn't for you guys. The people that got me into Subeta I don't talk to anymore so I was getting a bit lonely. Now I have you guys!

Awe that is so sweet :) we are glad that you stuck around! Thankfully I am still friends with the person who got me started on here. She isn't in the chat group, but we chat through comments. She prefers not to use the boards.

I lost touch with the guy friend I had on here and then his ex-wife which is my third cousin, she also got me on here and I haven't spoken to her in a few years. She got remarried and had two boys so she's off being a mom and wife.

Yeah having kids will deff take up a lot of free time!! I have had a few friends that gave up on the game a long time ago. I wish they had stuck around to see all the changes like HAs and things like that.

Definitely. I think one might have been having some special needs at some point too so I'm sure that is a lot too. I know he was having speech therapy because he wasn't really talking like he should have been. I believe they were talking that there might be an autism diagnosis but that was the last I heard a few years ago. I know, right? If only they'd stayed this long to see all the cool things that have come about in the last few years. HAs have gone through major changes for sure!

Yeah that is really tough. I had to take Emily to all kinds of appointments and therapy sessions. It is very time consuming and exhausting. I really love the recent changes to the HAs. It is great to be able to alter the base. Like how they stand/sit or have different poses for the arms. Things like that :)

I hopped over to Subeta 2 weeks before my 13 yr old was born. I was getting frustrated with how restrictive Neopets was getting, so I finally clicked the Subeta link someone had in their pet profile. Having kids was hard. but I spent a lot of time on here during their naps and then when they started school I had a little bit more time on here. As they got older it's been easier to pop on for longer because they can entertain themselves now at 10 and 13. I kept to myself until the Snowball Fight Event and then joined Team Nature. When people were cheating and infighting Team Nature and Team Blake got friendly with one another and we hopped on to each other's boards. Eventually we just assimilated into the Sharkies and the rest is history. I really love this group and y'all are what keep me coming back here.

Neo just got ridiculous! I know someone who got in trouble for talking about how she was making chicken breasts for dinner 0_0 Wow I am surprised someone was able to keep an offsite link on a pet profile. I am deff a lot happier on Subeta then I ever was on Neo. Sure the pets are cute (a LOT cuter before they were changed), but the site itself was annoying in too many ways! I am not really sure when I joined the shark tank. I know it was for a plot, but I can't remember which one. I am just really glad I decided to jump right in and then stick around!

I think I stumbled upon the Sharkies during survival a few years ago and everybody was just so friendly and welcoming that I never left! I never really experienced the restrictive side of neo, I wasn’t super active in their groups or anything. I do miss certain things like the games and pets and pet colors, but I’m happy on subeta.

I was in a guild for a while, but that went to heck for some crazy reason. I guess there was a lot of fighting in emails and stuff. No clue what happened. The whole thing was insane to me. I got tagged in a bunch of random emails (my real email...not neo mail) with so-called adults fighting back and forth. I just wanted to be left out of it lol. Then all of a sudden I logged on one day and half the guild quit and I was put in charge 0_0 I never asked for that! Then the guild just went downhill from there. I loved the Altador cup and still miss it. I was team pirate :D the cheating just sucked the fun out of it for me and I gave up on it. Once I gave up on that I just lost interest in the rest of the site. Now I am totally lost the 1 or 2 times I visit it a year. I forgot all my pins and can't figure anything out. I had quite a few trophies and avatars. That site could have been great (and it was for a while) but it got too greedy and tried to make it just for kids. No thanks.

I had been on Neopets since they started in 1999. I watched it change and improve and then when the owners of the site sold it to Viacom, the quality went down and the players were devalued and muzzled. All of my pets were colored and my Favorite one was my Skunk Lupe. I miss it every now and again, but I enjoy Subeta so much more.

I was in a great guild there. Thankfully a bunch of us reconnected via Facebook and we still keep in touch.

I have never used facebook. I guess I am way way out of the loop lol.

Subeta anniversary should be starting today. Hope they have something interesting. No floating items yet? Then pirate shop this weekend. I hope they have it open for at least a week and stock the shop this time.

I only started on facebook because it was the only way I could keep in touch with my brother and sis in law, they don't answer emails. :(

I started on Neo also but after working hard & spending a lot of points getting nice high stat pets suddenly one day my account wouldn't log in. After spending months emailing their support begging for help, including making a side account to file tickets, I had to give up because all my pets were gone. Never got a single answer from them. Best thing about Neo was the lost desert plot. Best plot I was ever a part of.

That was my favorite plot on Neopets too! I totally forgot about Subeta's anniversary.

I am on Facebook to keep in touch with my relatives mostly. Also my husband's friends and family. He has no desire to be on it. I have connections with about 350 people. Most of that is family (I have a large family). Then friends and their spouses.

It doesn't look like they are doing anything for the anniversary 0_0 I don't have any relatives to keep in touch with. I live with the ones I talk to and I can just call my niece on the phone or go see her.

Wow big family. For me it is just me, my mom, Emily, my niece and her 2 kids. Don't talk with anyone else.
