Yeah and to me that is just crazy! I don't even have 150 mill. I don't need a money sink. These "godly" weapons are supposedly worth that much because not that many players were even around when they were released! Among those players how many were into battling enough to have a high stat pet? The battling here has always been confusing, so it took me a long time to get into it and really try to get a capped pet. I loved the battling on Neo so I gave it a try here and gave up pretty quickly! I tried again a couple of years later during an event. I started training Talon, and it took a really long time to cap him. By the time all of that happened they decided to keep their weapons ultra rare and some opponents stopped giving them out! There is a scroll for beating Lady of the Waters 10 times. Guess what...I beat her 10 times (eventually) and NO scroll! They need to bring back these old opponents with their original loot drops. That is all I am asking for. Give us ways to "earn" these weapons. If they don't want to do that then they should make the knock off versions for the wearables and be done with them. I am not going to spend a ton of sp or bend over backwards for these weapons. I have been doing just fine without them, and quite frankly I forget they even exist until someone mentions them. There are probably a LOT of players who don't even know they exist lol. Especially the new players that they keep saying they want to attract to the site. OMG look at me rambling on and on and it isn't even 1am! :P sorry about that! Yeah I don't want anything handed to me. I just don't get the whole mindset that having a high tier battle pet required so much "hard work". Is it time consuming? YES. Does it cost a lot of sp? Hell Yes! I just don't see it as work. This is a game site and I just play the game. There are almost 400 comments on that news post! That hasn't happened in a really long time! You know people are upset when that happens 0_0

I believe this is the biggest gripe of current-day battlers including myself and you're on point with this. Every time I get up to the point where something good WAS given out, it's no longer there. The rug keeps getting pulled out from under us and there's no way to get a leg up through your own hard work IN battling anymore. Staff's whole reasoning for the 9bil godly box was really absurd too, "godlies are meant to be status symbols for the top battlers so we came out with a way anyone with enough money can just buy their way in." Alright.

I saw that you bought one of the cheaper boxes! Are you satisfied with the outcome? I was too cheap to go for one... But at least the next gelatin war will come sooner than we thought so there's that I guess.

I mostly got it just because lol, I got the Panzer Hydra Gauntlet, which I don't really need because I already have better weapons that cover the same icons but better. So I think I'll probably hold on to it at least until the upcoming Gelly War when more of the boxes go out and see if I can sell it then or maybe trade it for something else.

I don't really regret spending the sP but at the same time I didn't really need to, so I guess it's kind of meh lol. I'm saving to get a Natasha eventually though, so I'll just keep working on that. The godly weapons I don't usually really think about all that much anyway outside of the fact that some of those cool wearable overlays will probably never get used much.

Exactly! I trained Talon because I wanted a chance to win these things through events or challengers! Then when I finally succeeded I was so excited only to be let down. The events pretty much stopped and challenger loots changed :( I will never understand the whole "status" thing. Unless I run around yelling "look what I have!!" no one will even know I own it. Where is the status in that? I don't care about status. I just want an easier way to kill things. Oh geeze that sounds bad. I swear I am not like that in real life lmao! Lol same. The original god weapons are pretty well all before my time, but if I understand they were given as rewards to the top battlers in events. If more people have reached that top battling tier they would like the opportunity to earn them the same way. I know I'm not up to snuff right now and don't know if I ever will be, but to not even be given the chance... 😔 The first time they changed how to get the and made it more accessible, I worked my fingers to the bone clicking for hours for days on end because I was afraid it would be my only chance. It is a shame about that Spork's rarity, seems like most people are ogling the beautiful overlay including myself.

Well I know it's usually recommended by a lot of top level battlers because it's the best fire blocker that's actually obtainable. So I guess it depends what opponents you are struggling with or if you think you need better fire blocking. It is pretty expensive, but it's been one of my long term goals for a while, along with the Ether and Ornamented Hook Swords also from the MC.

I guess I kind of just feel like since I missed out on the other godlies and high level weapons from past events and stuff, I may as well try to get the ones that are available now just to have them lol.

I finally got the core, but honestly I never use it. I loaned it to a friend of mine pretty much right after I got it. Yeah that spork is really pretty. I would want it for my rainbow gallery even if it wasn't wearable.

I know what you mean. These older players need to realize that if the site goes poof their "valuable" weapons/items go poof too! You can't take it with you!! Nothing on this site is real. We don't get to keep any of it. Even though I will admit that every once in a while I will see a pretty rainbow item in a store or something and think "that would look great in my gallery!" then I have to remind my crazy self that my gallery isn't real LOL. Yeah I have insomnia also but have to get up at 6AM during the week to get ready for work. The part I think is really stupid about the boxes is that the item you get is random. I could see it might be worth it if you could choose which one you receive. Otherwise you'd probably just get something you don't want and would have to sell. I don't battle all that much even though most of my pets are in constant training but that's mainly for opponents that give special loot I want. Like the possessed challengers. And I almost never go on the forums any more except here or if there's a special event forum. Still think it's dumb for the free shop to start on a Wednesday. I won't have time to do anything with that until the weekend. They should start stuff on Fridays.

Yeah it deff sucks! I am the opposite for some odd reason when I brush my teeth I get more woke up. No clue why! Exactly! It is really sad to see people throwing in the towel but in a way I get it. I'm already a little mad with my lazy training under my belt, but I would be furious if I had poured all of my time/energy/money into raising my battle pet in preparation of a battle event with the pipe dream of earning a godly only to be told that actually you wasted all your money and you should have kept it back to just buy these loot boxes. Only the investments of old ultra rich players are protected, not the current investments into battle pets...

I haven't had time to read the hundreds of news posts about the boxes but I did see a mention that they put 5 of each weapon in the boxes. But 9b is way too much to spend for a random item. When I go to bed every night I'm so tired I think I will just fall asleep right away and then end up lying there all night trying to go to sleep.
