I also can't edit my profile on Firefox 89.0.2 with Arch Linux.

Can't edit, box literally will not appear. I tried also editing from the profile page in preferences... and the changes will not stick.

I am having the same problem and I'm very sad because it let me REMOVE my personalized layout but it won't let me add it back.

I'm guessing from the above and previous page that this is something that authentication broke, but I also cannot edit my profile. I click the edit button, nothing happens. Same with "Add Section". When I try to delete a block, the pop-up does show up and ask me to confirm I want to delete it, but when I click yes, nothing happens. Refresh, it's not been deleted. Also, editing profile info and text under User Options does not save. This includes the gender drop down list and the name and email fields. Also also, I can't change my forum signature either. Saw someone mention it and just tried that as well.

I have logged out and back in since authentication, and I have logged in multiple times on the new site using the authentication log in.

What a time to realize I never updated my age on my profile LOL.

I also just came across this problem when trying to edit my profile through the dashboard. I cleared my cash and tried again and it didn't help. I use Chrome.

Also having this issue on Chrome Version 91.0.4472.124~ I tried clearing subeta cache, logging in/out, new.subeta.net login, and rebooting.

Just for funsies I disabled all my add-ons/extensions in Firefox, cleared my data and restarted. Sadly, it did not make a difference.

It kind of worked for me. But on the dashboard, it still wont save any updates I make there. But it works fine just using the "edit profile" option. Thank you!!!

I also still can't edit from Dashboard > Profile, same issue as before. Editing via profile widget does work. It's easier making changes via Dashboard, but I'll make do with the widget for now.

[edit] I noticed another bug while editing my profile, I can drag the boxes around without being in profile editing mode. This is the case with other people's profiles as well (I tested a few random users on the forums). The changes don't persist of course. Was this always the case?

Yeah, that is pretty trippy. And I don't think it happened before.

For some reason, it makes me think of a loose tooth that's still hanging on, or when you pull on a rubber band and it snaps back into place.

Just ran into this too and came to check I wasn't crazy - can change the order on the main profile page, but entering anything via dashboard, it reloads with an empty field.

I decided to try my hand at creating my own profile layout, but I'm worried I'll edit it through the widgets, and if something is wrong, then I wont be able to fix it.

I've never really used the dashboard that much, but now that I'm getting into doing this, I can definitely see the massive benefit it provides. I'm so nervous to change my layout without it now. haha!

ETA: I'd really like to change my gender as well since it isn't correct. cries

I can't edit my profile from https://subeta.net/preferences.php?act=profile which means I can't edit it at all, because all the options are hidden by my coding lol.

I can also drag sections around other users' profiles (via clicking on the header title and dragging).
