2,000,000 QUESTS COMPLETED
WE DID IT!
This round started at 12:00am on 7/2 and ended at 11:59pm on 7/13, spanning 12 days. Our final goal was 2 million quests, we did 2,116,704!
All participants received the Style Hoodie, 1 pet slot, 5 referral points, 10 loyalty points, and a forum title yet to be determined. Participants who completed at least 100 quests during the event earned the Green Sun Sparkle border, and the top 100 ranked participants earned the Gold Sun Sparkle border. You can preview and change your avatar border here.
Participation meant at least one quest completed during the time the quest-a-thon was live.
The top 100 questers will also win the Gold Sun Sparkle border. (Since ties are possible, the Gold Sun Sparkle border is not restricted to the 100 players, just the top 100 "ranks.") There is no alternate prize for those who already have the Gold Sun Sparkle border unlocked. If we reach 2 million quests, all participants will receive additional prizes: 5 referral points, 10 loyalty points, and a forum title yet to be determined. Should we complete 1 million quests, all participants will receive 1 pet slot and the Style Hoodie (which can then transform into the Fashion Hoodie or Boutique Hoodie). Participants who do at least 100 quests during the event will earn the Green Sun Sparkle border (preview here).

* All users can do at least 90 quests each day (10 from each quest-giver) and gold account users can do at least 135 quests each day (15 from each).

If users choose to do both Sarah and Saggitarius' quests, the daily total goes up up to 100 quests for regular users and and 150 for gold users. If they have access to the Blue Building, the daily total goes up another 5 quests, to 105 for regular users and 155 for gold account users.

If you want to do both Sarah and Saggitarus' quests and want to do player to player money transfers, remember that Sarah counts money in pending trades towards your total sP, but ignores shop tills. Otherwise, make your own forum group, and dump everything into your bank when you want to do Sarah's quests.

If you do not have access to the Blue Building, you should be able to check what tasks you have left to complete here.
RE: Gaining Access to the Blue Building
You can check your achievements here, and find a list of some easier achievements here and here! You can check your trading card collection here, and you can see the cheapest ones available to buy over here, with SubetaLodge. You can train your pet here, and put a regular treasure map together over here. If you need to post, there's always Games, User-Run Games, the Gold Account forum, and the the Gold Account Games forum. If you just need your password -- sit on the Blue Building page and refresh a bunch while crossing your fingers. Good luck! -
If you're interested in maximizing your quest point gains, remember to do Blue Building quests after you earn a quest point. Blue Building quests count towards quest points but won't give them out, and can "eat" the point if you do a Blue Building quest fifth (blue building quest point issue).

I said this on the news post but since I got the gold border last year I'm considering opting out of Sarah quests to give others a chance at the border and because it's a hassle moving sP. However if our daily goal doesn't look like it's on the right track I will do them.
I'm actually surprised the goal is still 1 mil since we knocked it out of the park last time :o

I thought about being lazy and just doing the 100 quests for the green border but also don’t wanna be caught off guard if there’s a surprise prize added later on! They’re so sneaky like that :o
I also have the gold border and I'm a little concerned about the people (myself included), who are talking about holding back so they don't steal a slot from someone else. I wish there was a way we could "opt out" of being counted for the top 100.
That said, the top 100 isn't one hundred people, its one hundred "ranks" so if 500 people complete 135 quests each day, that's only one "rank" and still plenty of spaces to earn the border. I don't think we really need to worry about knocking people off the top 100 list.

Do you think I need to do Sarah's quests to qualify for the gold border? It sounds like a hassle to move all my money
@/fiction that's kinda risky since we're probably not going to see what the top 100 ranks look like (we didn't last time).
since we can only guess at what people are going to do, the top 100 ranks are (hypothetically) anyone who does between 1,705 quests (all quests every day) and 1,606 quests (missed 99).
if you skip sarah's, you lose 165 quests, which puts you outside of the assumed top 100, but that discounts any shenanigans on the users' end (ex, if we don't have anyone who miss 12 quests or 45 quests or 62 quests, those "ranks" aren't taken and the minimum number of quests needed for ranks 98-100 change).
[edit] actually my math is a lil off since max is 155*11 + 11 (all quests every day PLUS one extra wizard quest every day, an actual miracle) but the logic is the same :u

I don’t understand people wanting to opt out of the top 100 - the top 100 will involve /many/ ties, so no one gains anything by users doing ‘less’ quests than they otherwise would. /is confused

you're right, when you put it that way, and I don't know why I didn't realize that before lol. If I did all my quests every day I would just be in first place with potentially hundreds of other people. Then my mind is made up, forum group storage here I come!

I'm excited! I've been questing every day lately anyway, so this will just be some bonus prizes.
Gonna activate a GA once it starts and do both Saggi and Sarah's quests, since I missed out on the gold border last time I want to try to get it this time.
