I feel so stupid...it was a I thought I'd start getting into battle quests. At one level the Hustler used one to beat me, with 100 attack icons, and I was like.. I didn't know that was a weapon, and that it was so strong, I have one I can add to my armory too, and then was was confused when it disappeared 😩 It's a nostalgic item for me, I think I got it pretty early on when I first started on Subeta. I'll take it positively as a lesson learnt, I certainly won't forget that some items are single use now! Rant over XD

I'd like to get into battling more at some point, but it feels like there's a lot to learn 😓 (And a lot to spend XP) Kind of battling casually at the moment. Might ask for advice if I get serious :P

And that cute little overlay makes me smile too :)

Definitely a lot to spend, but fortunately once you start gaining momentum you can win some decent weapons for yourself.

Do you know a good place to check which opponent drops what? Would like to try to win some of these decent weapons :P

@ Roses This thread has all of 'em, plus how to unlock all of the secret opponents! And one of the biggest recent changes to opponents is that they can drop loot past 10 wins now. All of the default opponents and most of the secret ones will drop tomes if you get enough wins off of 'em. I sold all my tomes when my pet was still little so I could buy more weapons. xD

Mooost people don't get to the point where you can't use the training center anymore, or if they do, it's right before they hit the stat cap. But EXP point stat costs scale with your tier, so it's more efficient to use tomes at the higher tiers. Stats cost 3x as much at tier 13 as they do at tier 12. 😵‍💫 But if you need to fill out your armory, selling tomes to buy weapons will help you beat more enemies earlier, which will get you more EXP, and ultimately help your pet grow faster.

I see. Hm, I've been saving my EXP too, I'm worried about wasting them. Maybe I'll wait till tier 13 to start using tomes? Basically I've been delaying all decisions regarding stats other than the Training Center for now ^^'

I would recommend using your EXP to get to tier 10 since your pet's close--the cost goes up once you hit tier 10. If you have enough, you could use it all on health because it's the most expensive stat. Or split between strength and health, and keep using the training center for speed and defense.

Still such a long way to go ^^' I really should have tried for this achievement ages ago when I used to RS a lot more, the sale value of a lot of the same super rares was much higher back then, but I also couldn't resist the sP XD
