I support the idea

if restriction is lifted for Sarah's quests, then Saggi's should be lifted as well. it isn't fair for one group of users to be able to do an extra 10-15 quests for the Quest-A-Thon but another group isn't. i feel neutral on this matter otherwise.
I'm indifferent otherwise, but do we really struggle to beat Quest A Thon goals without Sarah's being open to everyone?
Support.
Also have no problem with doing the same for Saggi, as some have mentioned. If people want to pay out the sP for quest points/achievements/quest-a-thon but no other reward, sounds like a good sink to me.
I support removing the limit completely though. I'm indifferent to removing Saggi's
re: unlocking Saggi to everyone as well
Earning enough sP to do Saggi's quests isn't even remotely an issue if you're actively taking part in the quest-a-thon and selling the items you get. The same goes for getting access to Carl's quests. You can currently buy the whole uncharted land map for under 200k. Sell one mage amulet you get from Quentin, or the tokens you get from the Wizard and you're golden for unlocking and doing Carl's quests.
Unlocking both of these questgivers involves playing the game. It doesn't involve using an exploit or workaround to be able to access a newbie-tier questgiver that's only available to newbies & accounts under a certain sP threshold.
I personally wouldn't have a problem with Saggi quests being opened as well, though I agree with everything said!
I wasn't around for the last Quest-A-Thon, but my understanding was that the only people that won the top-tier prize were people that did both Sarah and Saggi quests. So people that were worried they might get frozen for using a workaround kinda got shafted.
Full support for just removing the sP limit on Sarah and Saggi entirely honestly. It's no longer really necessary. If you have almost no sP to start and you do Sarah, you often end up with enough from her combined with any other quest giver to do Saggi. It's silly to keep them locked at this point. Especially when the rules for banking your sP are generally lifted during Quest-a-Thon anyhow (generally not allowed, usually allowed during QaT now). Please oh please just scrap those sP limits.
Support!
I mainly do Sarah quests for the QP and the chance of getting Morty Cards. Not getting the cash if I have too much sP wouldn't be a problem. Also, I don't know how many times I've gone over the limit right after quest 14, not being able to finish drives me nuts and I have to run around spending a few thousand sP to be able to finish.
Having different requirements to do different quests isn't a big deal, but I'm not against removing those requirements either.
This is already the case. For the first 6 months of a new account Sarah has no sP limit - you could have a billion sP and still do Sarah quests. The 1.5M limit only kicks in after that. I should read ALL the replies before responding...somehow missed page 2.

Definitely support. Any fun out of quest-a-thon gets sucked out when people have to start wondering how they're going to meet eligibility requirements for Sarah's quest. It discourages participation. Not that that's the only reason to remove the sp requirement but it's one of them.
Another thought from me today:
What might make the most sense for a fair quest-a-thon is to "unlock" all quest givers for the duration of the event. That way there's not really a disadvantage/advantage for anyone RE: who they meet qualifications for (or for those who skirts systems to do Sarah's). The only advantage would come from having a GA.
If Sarah is open to everyone, Carl and Saggi should be open to everyone. That's a no brainer.
Honestly I don't see the point to this. It's very easy to spend your sP and then do her quests if you want to. There is no need to do them daily.
If we fail the quest-a-thon, it won't be based solely on Sarah's quests.
I agree. People will still need to do the Omen Island map for the rest of Omen Island.
It depends on how much sP people have. A few thousand or a few million would be no problem but some players have billions.
i support it. mostly because i want to finish the sarah achievements.
My only concern would be would at some point people then say, what about Carl, let me do his quests too. But then okay, what about all those who paid for the Omen Island map? I'm not saying yes or no, just ya know... thoughts. At what point do you say, okay well just lets even it all out and then does the site give all players that "compensation" for the map that they never actually even had to get?
" okay well just lets even it all out and then does the site give all players that "compensation" for the map that they never actually even had to get?"
Hydrus is no longer exclusive to people who bought the map and nobody threw a fit. So, why complain about Carl being accessible to everyone, something that should have happened after A Bad Omen anyway.
