I know you are not asking for ideas, but I had one I thought I would share. :-) Forgive me if this bothers you or you are not interested in ever doing a recolor of this background. :D

I thought how cute would this be if you did it with ghosts on the door (I love those cute little ghosts that subeta has been making seasonally) or black cat cutouts? Or if you took out the jack-o-lantern cut out-faces on the pumpkins and made them regular pumpkins and made the door fall-themed for use in November? Like this one but maybe with the pumpkins -- heirloom colors would be cool - like gourds?

It would also be a cute door frame for Christmas time too if you just added a bit of snow to the piece and maybe some form of decoration (or no decoration - honesty, just some ice or snow makes it more wearable without decorations in my opinion).

Or something cool toned with wet-rain effects on the steps/ground. ^^

It's just such a great background - I love it! ^^

I've actually been meaning to do recolors (especially a wintery one!) for literal years but I always get so busy from Oct-December and it gets put on the backburner! Maybe this will be the year it finally happens lmao. The rainy one sounds really cute, too! Honestly, I have big dreams of one for every season, there's a lot of potential for adding decorations and altering the color scheme. I wish I hadn't painted it in such a dumb way (recolors are a little difficult, hahaha).

Oh, I love your dream of getting it in every season. Since you painted it in such a way that recolors are difficult (i've done that before, which is no fun!), would it be easier to just make a new background that would be simpler to change? Just wondering - I know it's a lot of work either which way! No matter what though, if it does happen, your seasonal backgrounds would e super cute. :D

I have considered painting over the original (sort of a redo), where I separate out areas to make them easier to recolor. We'll see! I would really like to do a wintery/Christmas-y version this year for sure! Happy late Moro to you, too! I love this time of year on Subeta, it's like the whole site wakes up. :) Bonfire will be here before we know it!

Painting over a section would be easier than redoing it all for sure. I really look forward to a wintery version! I also agree that the site seems to come alive basically from Moro until the masque (though there is some die down after Lumi) -- but it's so great! :D
