The Gold Bag of Steamworks Trinkets and Gold Bag of Lounge Trinkets both give out 100 trinkets. I've checked both these bags, and they give out 100 trinkets.

If you were to purchase these from the Libertine Lounge (Gold Bag of Steamworks Trinkets) or the Steamworks Menagerie (Gold Bag of Lounge Trinkets), it would cost you 200 trinkets in each shop, which is probably where you saw the 200 from.
