Nah, I exalted a few when I first started, mainly because I wanted to help with dom, but I just kind of don't like it in principle and I didn't find it to be lucrative enough for the effort I put into it (training them up a few levels first). Also, I'm in Arcane and we never win dom anyway so there's no point lol.

Yep, Glimmer and Gloom, that's how I make my money there. 75k in 15-20 minutes. There are guides that make it really simple, you don't have to figure out the puzzles or anything, you just follow a formula based on the layout. I almost never sell anything because the AH is such a pain compared to how shops work here. I have sold a couple Baldwin genes and Bogsneak eggs in the past but I mostly can't be bothered. I'd rather spend time brewing for stuff I actually want.

Haha I know what you mean about the shrooms but I love fungus so I really enjoy that gene. There is something oddly squicky to me about it growing in the fur in particular though.

I usually try to sell the stuff i find in coli and sell the few marketable dragons i breed, but it's not much. I couldn't yet finish a single project. then again, i've only been playing for about 2,5 months so far, so i guess that's normal. especially if you keep starting new project dragons before you finshi any haha

you seem to get a good amount of eggs, too. so if you'd sell these that would work well for you, too! maybe joining discord would make it a lil easier? i find the fr discord very helpful.

Yes. The only ones I liked so far are trip Bananas in Diamond-Spade-Firefly, LOL

75k feels like nothing compared to the cost of stuff on there but it's the fastest money you can earn I guess (if you get it from G&G). I've always been kind of annoyed that the fairgrounds limit is so low (it's not like it prevented inflation, good grief), but I suppose it's actually pretty convenient that between that and all my dailies, I can be done there for the day in less than half an hour.

Lol as if I'm ever going to sell an egg. I know they're valuable but I just can't stop myself from hatching them even though all I get is disappointment 99% of the time. I don't get them as often as I used to anyway; for my first year I spent a ton of time in the coli. I was really driven to obtain G1 "flight reps" so I made sure to find at least one or two eggs to hatch during each festival. Most of the eggs I got last year were from NotN chests I got while bonding with fams.

very true - 2.5 or so months into the game and my current projects, ofc all unfinished, cost me far more than i can earn any time soon. but then again i was too lazy for the fairgrounds until i found out about this g&g thing! i actually managed to work it out and 75k a day is super easy now. will keep trying for that daily.

i understand haha i hatched the only egg i ever got too haha and will probably keep trying to do so. if i ever find more eggs that is haha. is there any venue you‘d recommend to loot eggs? g1 flight rep sounds good - but exhausting haha did you manage to find one for all of them?

I gave up my most ambitious projects a long time ago. It doesn't help that my first "dream dragon" was an Imperial before I realized those breed change scrolls were basically unobtainable and the chances of getting the exact colors I wanted are depressingly low. FR is very punishing to new players who missed their one opportunity to get things when they were affordable. As far as dragon goals go now, I don't really bother hoping for anything too specific; I'll just make the best of what I end up with.

I'm glad you got G&G figured out! That will make a big difference for you, I'm sure. I've been there like 2.5 years and through pretty much just G&G I've been able to gene quite a few dragons and earn most of the old festival fams. Those goshdarn sprites and a few of the rare retired ones will probably forever remain out of my reach though.

I can't figure out what the allure of hatching eggs is for me because normally I'm not a gambler but there is just something about those shiny dragon eggs...lol

I found something that works for me for the flight reps, yeah. They don't all belong to the flight they are supposed to represent and maybe I'll find more suitable ones later, but if I found any egg during a fest that was good enough for me.

how are your aber projects going? so far i haven't found a single dia/spade gene. I still need the whole lot of four. My dragons have their terts correct now at least. I guess the next thing i'm buying them is the right eye shade...
