I love these new dragons so much! I think I'm finally going to have to freeze a hatchling for the first time too, they are so adorable! (Yes I called them adorable.) All of the new genes are so good too...I really dig Diamond/Spade/Frills especially.

I went through all the G1s I have sitting around and even hatched a couple Plague eggs I had but none of them look great as Aberrations with the genes I like. Frills are tricky because of the secondary color; I love the concept but it almost always ends up clashing horribly. I might hatch the rest of the Nocturne eggs I have stashed away to see if I get a good candidate there but I doubt it, everything I hatch always ends up being dirt, swamp and bubblegum or some crap. Decent G1s on the AH all cost more than I'm willing to pay so I'm probably just going to be stuck waiting for a while before I find the perfect dragons to use my scrolls on.

Congrats on the boss fam drop! Which one was it? I have 987 fams but still need several of the bosses. They seem nearly impossible to catch. After grinding the coli SUPER hard my whole first year, especially during the festivals, I got so burned out on it I simply can't force myself to touch it for more than a few turns anymore.

What are boss fams? (I'm so ignorant, LOL). And where would we look best for Diamond and Spade should I design my project? :-)

Boss fams are the ones like the Silverbeast and Goldenbeast from Rainsong Jungle or Terror Toad and Fear Frog from Forbidden Portal. The extra strong guys that always mess up your rhythm with your stored energy because you can't take 'em down in one or two hits. They're relatively rare and almost never drop; I bought most of the ones I do have.

I didn't know so I checked the news post and they both come from loot drops so ugh. I guess I'm going to have to drag my butt into the coli for those since they're my favorite Aberration genes but I'm not sure where the best place is to find them. I am very glad they aren't gem genes at least. Gotta look on the bright side lol

you can usually look the best locations up in the game database. just look for the item and check the comments. ♥️ i have spent a lot of time in the coli within the last 24h but still nothing haha won‘t give up though.

Sorry you couldn’t find the right project dragon yet. I only have one g1 and the colors aren‘t that popular, but you can check out my lair and if you like it‘d send over right away. I found the green bear, Dire Claw. If you still need it, lemme know, i‘ll send it over. i only have about 150 fams and as usual i leave more expensive stuff in collections for my late game. i‘d sell this one if you don‘t take it, so really feel free :3 As to the frill gene, yes the secondary color makes it look a little weird. in general the fur neck makes gening them a little difficult. you can go xxx blush but they will have a very odd shade of pink as fur which will make it look impossible to look at. but i do like the breed a lot, really like hydras to begin with. and they have a something silly about them, makes them very adorable.

I'm gonna go ahead and hatch all my eggs though, I guess, and maybe I'll get lucky (I know it's not a good idea but I obviously can't bring myself to sell them so I might as well hatch them anyway). Your G1 actually looks really interesting with some scries (secondary and tert can go pretty well together) but I have a lot with that kind of tan/brown coloration already. Thank you for the offer of the boss fam too! But I already have that one (I bought it not too long ago lol). Can I add you as a friend there though?

You're right, the neck fur is just a little off in most colors. I guess it's something we'll have to get used to. They aren't the matchiest dragons ever but they sure are interesting. I love how the heads in the female pose look like they're conspiring together. Good luck in the coli, hope you get those scrolls soon!

yes, they already had the comments in yesterday, crazy! Ooooh a lot of eggs to hatch! what colors are you hoping for? or will you only know once you see it ? haha i only ever had that one g1 to hatch. i found one on the same day as found her first, so weird haha. hers was worth 750g tho, mine is "worthless". I don't think it's ugly tho, i really like the color. eyes matches the primary and sec & tert are only 3 off. it does look fancy on a lot of scries. so if no one is ever willing to take it i'll scry it myself eventually. :3

we will get used to it in time. I just think it's a lil sad they didn't add stained for them, yet. i think that could solve a lot of the color issues for them. i love the twisted tail of the males, too. amazing haha.

I had a Nature egg and like 10 Nocturnes saved up...I just hatched a few and landed on this one, I think it's a winner! I only need to change the eyes to multigaze.

I agree, your G1 isn't ugly at all! I think it's worth getting genes for. But I really love G1s and I hang onto all of mine in case someday they end up being perfect for a certain gene combo.

Stained would be great, it fixes a lot of problems. I've never bought it since I believe it's a gem gene but it's nice to have the option.

looks amazing! though i‘m not very fond of multi-gaze haha multiple heads? yay. multiple eyes? not very much so lol but it really fits the whole "vibe" of the dragon! congrats on this very good hatch :3

If I happen to find a dragon who'd be a good mate for her I'll try for some eggs. I rarely breed my dragons though because I usually just get random combos that I can't even give away, and I don't like exalting so I end up stuck with them. The things that appeal to me don't tend to be what's popular so I'm not motivated to breed for sales (also I'm lazy).

The weirder, the better! What's the point of multiple heads if you can't have extra eyeballs all over the place too? lol She looks good with normal eyes too but I like how multigaze brings the green into the rest of her body. They remind me of jester bells too.

oh you don't like exalting? it's my one source of income haha i had seen someone commenting earlier on a mini game that can get you the full 75k a day within 15mins by using a simple trick but i haven't checked it out yet.

I don't have many pairs that have really "saleable" babies haha i usually just get those i like and try for a good breed ^^

but i must say the swamp beast i like even more! he shrooms tert is a lil ew but i like how it looks here!
