Absolutely gorgeous HA!! My day was good. Liz and I ran around and I took her out to lunch. We have a new iHOP by our house and I planned to take her there but they aren't open yet so she got to eat at her favorite restaurant - Red Robin. She was very happy!!

I started Ken Burns Baseball series last night, but of course I fell asleep about 30 minutes in. lol

yes, that's what I did. I cut labels off jeans too a few times. I was very... anti-fashion... 😆

In a weird way I get it. If I see a really cute top but it has a designer name on it I probably won't buy it. Unless it's Adidas. :-D And I'm not into wasting money on designer handbags. But I do follow and trends - not as much as when I was younger.

I wish I was a fan of red robin but those burgers are just to basic for me XD Im also not a big fan of burgers to begin with

I did like the Red Robin burgers because even though I don't really like burgers most of the time, apparently I do like them with guacamole and wrapped in lettuce in lieu of a bun, and they make them that way there! But I think during the last year they took the one I always ordered (taco tavern double) off the menu so not sure if I will still like it...

ah I do really like lettuce buns, the bun has sooo many carbs otherwise

I can't eat regular bread buns and I hate gluten-free "bread" 99% of the time, but lettuce wrap burger is delicious! (but only really good with guacamole, otherwise not enough flavor, because I don't like mayonnaise on it; it might be ok with just the right amount of ketchup and mustard instead, but still not quite as good and I'd be thinking the whole time 'this would be better with guacamole' )

I eat the Chicken Ensenada there. And occasionally I eat their Sweet Potato Fries. Yummy!!

I checked that out, looks tasty but maybe not $13 worth of tasty...

Of course. lol. I don't even think baseball is that interesting--if I have to sports, I'm a NFL or hockey girl--but dang, I'd watch Ken Burns do just about anything.

And that's why we only eat out about 5 or 6 times a year. I can't stand to throw money away like that as I've been poor before - and it's not fun!! But anyway my special needs daughter that's 24 loves to eat out so I have to cave and take her sometimes. Wicked cool HA!! I can imagine the story that one has! :-)

Yep, it's true. :D I think an ex-family friend was in one of the Gettysburg documentaries as a marching soldier. Really, just a dressed-up extra, but it was cool regardless.

I'm hoping to find more to watch after I finish Baseball. Have you been questing? All or some?

I've written and posted three whole stories this week (though a couple need more editing and none will be visible/100% finished till end of month) and working on editing one to post later tonight.

yes, definitely... I'm worried about the one that came out yesterday though, whether it was exactly what was wanted or too close (though not very close) to what wasn't.... nervous... still, it's good to feel like I got so much writing done!
