Known Issues
This is a list of known issues that have been occurring persistently to multiple users.
Advertising Forum
Description: Users sometimes experience a 502 or 504 error when trying to load the Advertising forum specifically. This usually goes away after a couple of refreshes.
Info to include in your report: There is no need to report this error at this time.
50x Error when Quickstocking Many Items Description: Users experience page lag and timeout when quickstocking a lot of items at once. Info to include in your report: How many items were you quickstocking, and where were they being quickstocked to?
User Dashboard not Loading Description: Users cannot load the User Dashboard. Sometimes goes away with a refresh. Info to include in your report: There is no need to report this error at this time.
For example: "I got a 504 error on the page turning in the items for Pete's quests at 5:03 PM subeta time. The error went away after a single refresh."
Generally if you only get the error once, and it goes away after a single refresh, it does not need to be reported. If you get the error on the same page more than once, please report it.
There is no need to ping programmers - they will regularly check this thread.

They are still working on the search subeta page. However this is not a lag or timeout issue. Feel free to make a separate board for this issue but it is on the programmers' radar.
[edit] If you do make a board please remember to give as much information as possible. Like what name you were trying to search, what operating system and browser you are using, etc.

If you're still having trouble changing your avatar border and getting the 500 error, please change your password and log in again on Kumos - that should fix this!

I let Keith know there's an issue with lag and timeout errors. Hopefully he'll be able to take a look soon.

I hope you know by this point that it isn't as simple as "fixing the connection".
In this case, a database backup was frozen which caused the database to queue all of the requests until it ran out of requests it could queue, which brought down legacy and Kumos.
It takes about thirty minutes to recover from something like that (what is happening now) and you'll see that most of my updates today on the news page are around trying to make the site (Kumos, in this situation) faster and asking for feedback. I'm working on this problem.
