Hi ! Oooooh, tamales! Here in Brazil we have "Pamonha" (nh makes an ñ sound if you know spanish) which is similar to tamales but made with corn. But I never had it, I just know it exists hahahaha

The fudge is also not very popular around here, I never had one. I'll take o-- (gets hit by a pillow and falls unconscious)

: I've had Pamonhas here where I live in California. There are many Portuguese people who live in the Central Valley and Mrs. Sousa would make these. She had two variations, she made them with fresh sweet corn and coconut milk, and sugar, and she made them with a little cheese inside. They're very good. Our tamales are made fresh by Weldon, we get our corn masa from a local vender who grinds it daily. Weldon fills his tamales with spicy meats and steams them for nearly an hour.We are getting some sweet masa made with strawberry and mango fruit to make sweet tamales next week. I could talk about food all day.

I may have to go change! I'm covered from head to toe with strawberry shortcake and whipping cream!
